Quality Tachometer
It was very easy to install and works very well. It seems to be well made and is accurate. I have had no problems with it to date. It makes it easy to keep track or the running hours of my rebuilt engine, especially for the break in period.

Too frustrating to be worth the price.
Dont waste your time or money. Dont listen to people who say it works fine. It may read RPMs fine, but that does not matter. There is no/off switch, and the battery is verry difficult to remove. It is in a deep pocket and snug. If it is not functional or practical who cares about the tech specs. Save yourself the hassle. Get one with an on off switch!

Good tachometer.
Once you get the sensor wire wrapped around the spark plug wire it works fine. You will probably need more wire ties. Easy to use and install.

Worked Great on my Lawnmower
Used this unit to read rpms on my honda lawnmower. Worked great right out of the box. Use 1p1r for most small 4 stroke engines since the flywheel sends a pulse to the spark plug on every revolution including the exhaust stroke.

Not waterproof or water resistant by any definition!
Despite "waterproof" claim, the unit actually absorbs moisture, resulting in an interally fogged screen. I installed in the enclosed engine bay of our boat, rinsed out the engine bay (no direct water on unit) and within 30 minutes, the display was internally fogged up. Hoping sitting for a day in the sun will dry things out.

Don't get it wet or feed it after midnight.
This product worked right after installation. I used it primarily for diagnostics. During a heavy rain, the casing filled with water. The tach stopped working at 2.7 hours of run time. I'd like to get a replacement, but no way to contact seller. I guess this review will stay until a replacement is recieved.
