Fantastic Triple Sec for mixing
Thought I would post a review given the very lacking and unhelpful one already provided. Just a bit of context and history first. Angel d'Or is a Spanish orange liqueur using oranges from the Soller valley in Spain. These are oranges that will have a sweet flavour profile; if you want something like this try the aforementioned or a more mellow cognac-based orange liqueur like Grand Marnier.Onto the Combier. Combier is a traditional Triple Sec orange liqueur. These are liqueurs of French Oranges using the peels of bitter varieties of oranges (and sometimes other citruses) which have been sun-dried and steeped in alcohol. Every Triple Sec has a slightly different blend and method of distillation. Combier is made as it was in the 1800s; using the peels of sun-dried orange skins from Haiti stepped for 24 hours and distilled in copper pot stills over 100 years old.I have compared Combier directly to Cointreau and it is barely discernible in a mixed drink. I do find that Combier gives a slightly cleaner and fresher palate as Cointreau is a very powerful mixing liqueur. I would say if you find Cointreau a tad too intense or overbearing, definitely pick up some Combier. It's well worth trying for mixing and always worth grabbing a bottle to replace/compare to Cointreau before you final settle on one. This is not a sipper - Cointreau offers a much better profile for neat sipping - but what it brings is a solid and one-dimensional orange hit exactly as you want for any drinks that call for it. Makes a lovely sidecar, cosmopolitan, margarita, etc.

Not that nice
Ordered this because I couldn't find Angel d'Or which is lovely. This was not very palatable and to strong and smells to much of aniseed
