These are awesome they're fast uses just regular old 3/8 line. These are quick we'll tie down a load I put some eye bolts in the sides of my trailer and I take the line and I do whatever I want with it and then I just zip it tight with this ratchet tie down I hardly ever use the tow strap type of ratchet tie downs anymore This is far less complicated.

Have now used this a few times to lift a few 10' kayaks up a ravine. Construction of the device is solid, rope was easy to load/unload, idiot proof instructions etched into the metal. Honestly I wish I would have bought this sooner, its going to make my life easier and safer in the future.

Great price works great handy for any job

I purchased two to use for various tasks and bought some cheap rope for less than 4 dollars that will work with it. Like the fact that you can buy this without rope should you already have rope or want to buy rope separately and perhaps cheaper maybe because of brand or length etc. Just to note it doesn't come with the paper sleeve wrapped around it like in the picture; but in a plastic bag with a thick piece of small paper just placed inside the bag that has the instructions. At first I thought the item was used (since the packaging didn't look like the picture in the item description etc); but I bought the second one ship and sold by Amazon and it came the same way. Useful item and would buy again.

We were missing the rope in the item so that’s why I gave it a 3 but the remaining part was okay.
