YFM250 Carburetor Compatible with Yamaha Bear Tracker Yfm250X Yfm250Xh Yfm250B Yfm250 Carb Engine

This is a good carburetor, but you must make changes to use it. It does include multiple jets but for my Bear Tracker none of the main jets worked. It would idle fine but cut out if you tried driving it. I was able to correct this by installing the OEM carburetors main jet in this carburetor. After making this change the carburetor worked great. I would recommend the manufacturer offer a wider selection of jet sizes to increase the quality of this product. For reference the OEM jet size I used was the number 95.

This is the 6Th carb I've bought for this atv . And this is the first one that I installed and had NO PROBLEMS at all . Just had to adjust the throttle a touch . The other 5 I have more problems than I can remember.

I read the other reviews so I swapped the fuel jets with factory sizes before installing the carb.The old jets had no markings and appeared to be the same size but I did not measure them.My new air jet was a different thread but I do not know whether the carb was different or my new jet was incorrect so I left it.The needle clip remained as it was, in the lowest position. Started immediately without the choke.Ran fine till it warmed up so I could adjust the idle mixture and speed.From then on I was very impressed with its performance. I thought my BT was low on compression before but now it runs stronger with crisper throttle response. Well worth it since it was far cheaper than just the part my old carburetor needed. Only 4 stars because I had to swap jets first.

carburetor is junk, choke rod bent, motor will not run if choke is turned off, motor run on half choke but fouls spark plug, carburetor overflows

Bought for a Yamaha Bear tracker 250 did not work rebuilt old carburetor runs great

Car worked very good and didn't even have to adjust it, works perfectly

Fit the 250 bear tracker. Slapped it on and away it went, no tweeking needed. Not sure how it will hold up over the long run but out of the gate it's spot on.
