Columbia Girl's Youth Minx Mid II Waterproof Omni-Heat Trekking and Hiking Boots

Bought them just before Christmas and took them for winter holidays- 3 weeks in actually all weather conditions: from wet rainy circa +6 C temp, though 10 cm fresh snow with either + or - 10 temp and ending with sharp -20 (brrr) oh! not mention one day of freezing rain. I'm adult 4.5 and they fit perfecty, not too tight not too loose as I was wearing thicker socks during very cold days.Boots were doing great! from the first day I have put them on- very comfortable, warm, easy to put on and so lightweight. I have very sensitive feet and never had a blister from them.In the wet conditions nothing leaked, and I had the feeling in my feet were actually breathing in them. In minus temps my feet never felt better! Not to mention the outer sole- the grip is amazing! we have had freezing rain and I could walk normally like no big deal :) slipery snow- easy peasy, melting snow- what are u talking about :D you get those moments from time to time when its very slippery and you feel under you foot like you gonna gooo but them it stops. it's just a moment like half of the second and the grip starts to work- it has some down sides too though if you found your inner child in you and you want to slide on ice a bit- nope, it wont let you (yes! they stop on ice!).I grew up having a proper white and cold winers and never had winter boots like those columbiasthey might not look like a grown woman elegant boots but hey! I have seen worse browsing through the Internet and wondering if I should spend such money on winter shoes (now I know it was a good inversment and after intensive use there are bearly any signs of wear).Plus after all safety and comfort is all you need in the snow and Minxes look pretty fine in your feet.If you hesitate- DON'T

Not sure I'd it's the model or Columbia in general but normally I'm a size 4 in next (next does large sizes) and on these I'm a size 3.Really really comfortable, very light weight and feel very warm.Sole is non-slippery so 100% perfect for those icey / snowy days were one normally feels like one is gonna fall with every step.As an overall I'm very happy with my purchase, price is the best around beating other competitive online shops as Sarenza etc...Received with a next day delivery.Very well packed as expected from Amazon.If you're looking for a comfortable everyday wear pair of quality winter boots... this are the best!Without a doubt 10 / 10

Really nice boots, unfortunately I didn't take any notice of other reviewers concerning the size, as I already own some Columbia boots and take a 3 but had to buy a 5 to fit in my last pair, I ordered too big a size so had to send them back. Obviously I didn't try them out and the material doesn't look as if it will be waterproof but I am assured they are. Really comfy, like wearing slippers.

These boots are great! I usually buy Adidas snow boots, but thought I'd give these a go as I didn't like the new design. Very pleased I did. These boots are really warm and comfortable. They look great and can confirm that they are waterproof. I wear them all the time when it's wet and they are very grippy also.The design is very smart, don't be put off by the blue as it looks great in person. I can also confirm that the 'youth size' fit exactly the same as a regular women's size.

Excellent, tested them out in the Canadian Wilds at -6 Celsius. Very comfortable and kept my wife's feet dry throughout. In the suitcase for next year's Snowy Trek in -15Celsius.

Many people have mentioned in their feedback that they first discovered an adult version of this boot, I wasn't an exception. This youth version of and adult analog costs about 20-30% less. Size is identical, I'm UK4 in adult size chart ordered the same in youth. Nicely made, nothing over the moon in terms of quality. Good value for the price I've paid. The only thing I didn't like is that boot sole curves upwards where the toes are. Maybe I just need to get used to it.....

Sizes fall larger than normal, have had to give them away as a gift to someone with bigger feet. That said, they were warm which is what I'd hoped for

Not too sure about the waterproofing as the fabric does absorb water.
