Nice coverage of the 100 years of Ringling lore from the birth of Albert to the decline of the circus in the 1950 's. Being from Baraboo, this was very interesting. Sad that the vein of risk and greedy choices seems to run in the personalities of most successful entertainers. Nevertheless, a very successful family due to a lot of hard work and perseverance.

I live in the Sarasota area and was interested in learning about the Ringlings and the circus, which is a big part of our history. The book was written by a family member. The book was informative from a business viewpoint, although I would have liked to know more about the personalities who made up the troupe. There's very little about the performers themselves. The book was recommended by a staffer at the Ringling Museum, who said it's far more factual than other biographies of John Ringling.

I really enjoyed reading this book. The way it was written was unlike other books I have read because it was told from Henry Ringling North's perspective and I felt like I was sitting at the feet of this man listening to his great words. It was also very exciting. I felt like I was there through those years and it makes me want to run away and join the circus. I highly recommend this book. I learned so much about circus history by reading it.

This is a Great Book. It tells you so much about how The Ringling Brothers started their Circus, and everything that the family went thru. This book is for anyone and everyone that has enjoyed going to the Circus, and never knowing how much time and work that went into putting on The Greatest Show On Earth.

Great Book ! I live near Baraboo Wisconsin, and have been to all of the Ringling points of interest in that area. Fascinating ! This book puts all the pieces of the puzzle together. It makes you want to go back in time and join the Circus !
