Zero issues with this reel
I attached this bow fishing reel to a mini crossbow. It worked great and already came with 150lb line on it. I used this to harvest bullfrogs and it worked exactly as i was hoping.

Good unit.
Bought it Amazon open box used. It was Missing some mounting parts, I didn’t need them, but I would expect that would have been in the description or Amazon did not do a through check. Functions fine though.

Seems fine, but ...
I have not bowfished with it yet, but seems to work fine on regular fishing rod.The only problem I noticed is that Amazon advertised it "Made in USA", but a small label on the reel says "Made in China". This really confused me and make me question the reliability of it, and the reliability of Amazon's info. Took 2 stars off for this reason.

Broke the first night
Shot great for a while but didn't last more than 15 shots.I read many reviews and the bad ones stuck out. I paid more attention to the good reviews, since the majority were good reviews. After not even a full night of bowfishing, the reel is broken. It does not reel in. Going to buy an AMS bottle reel now.

Trash, broke after third time fishing
Save your money and buy something else. On the first outing I broke the plastic internal reel pin so I ordered several more. The third time out it stripped its own small brass central shaft threads so now it doesn't reel in at all. I should have listened to the other negative reviews on here but I rolled the dice with the supposedly good "Muzzy" brand.
