This book is a lifesaver for implementing SAP HANA security. Using it as the guide for a large scale HANA security roll-out at a large enterprise organization. Everything from account types to analytic privileges to auditing and trace logs are included and covered in great detail. No matter the size of your HANA environment / security efforts, this book is the best source for information I've found anywhere.Developers, Managers and Admins alike can all gain a wealth of information from this material.

This book provides both an overview of SAP HANA security and a detailed, step-by-step look into the actual implementation of SAP HANA security. As someone relatively new to SAP HANA and it's security model, I found this book extremely useful as it breaks down the security into understandable segments complemented with details on how to perform changes in the system. Easy to read and makes a relatively unknown area of SAP security easier to understand.

Great guide to HANA security with plenty of information on best practices. For those not too familiar with managing security through HANA Studio or the web workbench, the book has a lot of illustrated examples and can serve as a detailed reference for how to complete just about any task relating to security in HANA.
