Nothing to dislike so far.It’s stronger than I thought it would be, I was expecting maybe thinner metal that bend more easily, but this is made of strong stuff.The easily removable insert is brilliant, and even has a plastic lid to go with it (although it would have been nice if it sealed so the insert could be used on its own - I guess you still could with an elastic band or something to keep it in place.The main idea I guess though is that it’s removable and washable, so it does the job. There is also a removable divider inside that makes it that bit more versatile too.The fastenings are good and work well, and made of a plastic. Time will tell how these wear, I would have like some sort of flip lever closure maybe (like a Kilner jar) - but, they seem solid and could last years, who knows.In all a brilliant box that seals well, feels like it will last a long time and take a bashing. It’s reassuringly heavy, so not one for lightweight enthusiasts, but I’d rather have kit I can be clumsy with any day.Chuffed to bits with it!

I bought this for my daughters packed lunch. I love the look of it. Green anodized aluminium! What could be wrong with it? It's really heavy compared to a normal sandwich box and my daughters bag is heavy enough already!The clips are easy to open accidentally. The inner liner is not silicone as the product video would have you believe. It is rigid like a sandwich box. You open the metal lid and inside there is another lid for the liner that just comes away. That's going to get lost and the Aluminium box will not clip closed without it. The metal box is pressed aluminium and is bent over at the top edge to form a rounded edge a bit like on a can BUT it is poorly finished and although the corners are fine there is a sharp edge to the front, back and sides. I couldn't belive it on a sandwich box I just paid £24 for. It looks great and it is a top brand but avoid it like the plague! I can't even send it back as I destroyed the box before I actually opened this thing

Superb quality item, that is made to last many many years. Stop buying cheap plastic rubbish that will end up in a landfill and grab a SIGG lunch box. You wont regret it!

This was a replacement for the slightly dented Sigg lunchbox our son has had since he was 17 at agricultural college. The original one has been used for lunch in the outdoors on a weekly basis, been knocked around in trucks, dropped, had bits of tree fall on it (he is a tree surgeon and is now 34!) So thats 17 years of hard wear, and the original one is still used on a semi regular basis. Basically they are as solid as anything and the price is good considering the durability.

I think you can now ignore the negative reviews regarding the seal, it now has an inner lid to go with the inner box, well done sigg for listening to the customers.On another note I ordered a silver box but received a green one (which said outa stock) but that didn't bother me.Been using for 2 weeks now and I love it, it also gets looks in the canteen.

Nice box and good appearance - but it was purchased because it was called a "large" and I had hoped that my son would be able to carry all his items together. Sandwich fits, raisins fit, crisps fine - but NOT an apple because the box is not deep enough! What use is that? (Bought early for Christmas so won't be able to return it now, otherwise I definitely would.)
