This code reader is super easy to use. Just plug it into the car and follow the menu options. This totally takes the guesswork out for when an indicator light comes up on the dash. It even checks the battery power so I won’t be stranded somewhere with a dead battery. The reader is small so it doesn’t take up much room on a shelf or in the glove box. A must have for anyone! Saved me a ton of money! Easy to use with simple instructions! Read my maintenance required code that ended up being dirty fuel injectors! Taking the car to the dealership would have cost me minimum $89+ just to do the same thing this OBD scanner did. Did some quick research and just added a fuel injector cleaner to my gas and cleared out the code with this machine and code never came back! Now any time anything pops up I am able to see the code and be able to do research on my own and not freak out thinking something major could be wrong with my car! This will give you some peace of mind or save tons of money by being able to find out what's wrong with your car.

This was way worth it I have an older car and the lights will go on from time to time and so my boyfriend is always telling me to stop at one of the auto shops and have them plug it in and run the scan. I can now do it on my own and it's so easy. The big plus size is not having to go in and ask one of the auto guys to run a Check and they look at you like you're a stupid girl that doesn't know anything. Now I can go into the auto shop and tell them exactly what was wrong. It's amazing and I love it.

It’s a great tool for my husband who loves to work on cars, eliminates the trip to auto zone to have them read the codes. We used it on a 2002 Honda Civic.

First off, I have to admit that I am by no means mechanically inclined nor am I a car guy. But I also know that taking a car to a shop or mechanic to get fixed can get really expensive, really fast. So when I check engine light came on I went into panic mode. Luckily a friend had a code reader similar to this one and I figured out immediately that it was something I am fairly confident in being able to fix by following a video on YouTube. I ended up buying this one for myself and sure enough the check engine light came on again for the same problem. So I cleared it with my code reader and now my car works great again! Hahahaha. No seriously I am going to change out my thermostat but I never would have been able to even know what the problem was without this thing. Save yourself a ton of money and get one!

Easy to operate, lets you know if your battery is good. It also let me know that I had a misfire on one of my cylinders, changed the spark plugs and my issue is now solved.

I thought I was going to love it. It is simple to use. But it did not work on my truck. I have had 3 engine light episodes and it failed to read any of them. I ended up having to go to a parts store and using theirs. There device (I do not know the mfg.) read all three codes just fine. I would have returned it, but it was far out of the return window because my first engine light did not show up for about 6 months.

Great little device. Seems well built. Have one of the little bluetooth one, which is fine but wanted something I could throw in the toolbox and have when I needed it. Most of these handheld units are pretty expensive or pretty lousy. This is neither.
