Bigjigs RailTrackside Accessory Set - Wooden Train Set Accessories

These BigjigsRail toys are so well made. I purchase them for my grandson, who is three, and loves Thomas the Train. These Bigjigs pieces work great with the Thomas trains and are about one third the cost of the Thomas pieces . They are very colorful and can be used to enhance the train settings.He loves them. I have also purchased the mining station, the roundhouse, the depot, the lumber station and several bridges. They, as this set, are all made of wood and connect and fit in with other train displays and also fit other wooden tracks. I give these 5 stars for durability, appearance , value and compatibility with other train sets. I wish more pieces of Bigjigs were offered here.

We bought these to go along with my daughter's train set. It's a fun set, very cute, and had held up well through being dumped in and out of the box over the last year. I have to let go of the fact that the people and animals are the same size as the buildings and cars, because it certainly does not affect her enjoyment of them.

Well built, just wish they were a little more engaging. The people are as big as the stores and really are just little blocks of wood. It is what is described and well built. Just not what my two year old choose to play with, when getting out his train set.

We bought this instead the more expensive Melissa & Doug option and its been a hit. Babies through elementary school ages have enjoyed it. I love that it can provide for creative play. And the people are super cute with detailed paint around the entire block, just the front. Great purchase.

Well crafted. Doesn't look as though the paint will chip or peel any time soon. Cute characters and animals. The vehicles all fit on wood train tracks and work well. Only complaint is that the buildings are much smaller than the people and animal characters. They are proportionately matched to the trains and vehicles though. I can see that if they made the people small enough it would be a choking hazard and easy to lose track of. Just throws of the aesthetic for me (which my kids aged 5 and 2 could care less about).

Great value wooden toys. So much better for toddlers than plastic which breaks easily.

Cute! Very reasonable price.

A Christmas present for my grandson, two and a half. He appears to like it and plays with it every day either with his train set or with his play mat. It is well made and solid.
