In description it says US grown, but when I receive the package to my glad surprise it says made in Spain! 😍 The regulations on organic produce in Europe is stricter with less (or no!) pesticides. Besides bell peppers in Spain are deliciously sweet 😋

I use a lot of paprika to make salad dressings. This is the second bag I have purchased. This is a very good product with great taste, texture, and color. My recipes sometimes call for fresh red bell sweet peppers but I use this paprika as a substitute with great results. I especially like it because it is organic and made in America.

Rich in taste, color and aroma. Trully fresh and quality spice! Have been using it for few months now.

I bought this over other competing brands because it claimed that this was "American Paprika Powder." Well, it was packaged in America, but was sourced in Spain. That's annoying but not worrying, because Spain follows EU agricultural standards. It does make me wary about buying other products from Starwest Botanicals, lest they source their "American" products from countries with lower standards.

I was so excited to make goulash with it but when I tasted it, I was so appalled by its bitterness that I started to look for why it happened! At the beginning I made sure to only very quickly and lightly heat the paprika in oil so that it doesn't become bitter. Then I tasted the paprika powder and new that it was the culprit! I have never had such a bitter paprika in my life! I will never by from this company again!

Wonderful flavor!! I use it daily, so the quality of the product is very important to me. I trust Starwest Botanicals because the products I purchase from them are always excellent. I'm very grateful they have a wonderful selection of organic spices and herbs. Thank you very much!!
