Written by a genius, be sure to look up words and terms you don't recognize so you can fully grasp everything and make use of it. It's kind of hard for me to follow as I've learned everything by ear and have such a small grasp on music theory, terminology and time signatures.

We have to challenge ourselves to work harder and get a good deal of advanced material under our belt if we are to progress as musicians and drummers. This book is riddled with challenges and with discipline and time the lesson found within will enhance your skill, mental faculty on the drumset, and ultimatly your enjoyment in playing music. Great book, very challenging, but certainly not impossible. I have become a master at playing at very slow tempos to learn the material. If you can play it perfectly slow, fast will be so much tighter!!take it light

Having done the red book, I did the blue book. Mr. Harrison is a unique thinking and to me is the Bill Bruford of the 21st century. It is not easy, it has taken me 4 years to finish this and my mind is jelly. Worth it? Definitely, this will get you thinking.....
