I’ve been a rv tech for over 15 years and flair it are the best for most situations. I only bought them from Amazon because my normal suppler was back ordered.

We own a 35 y.o. manufactured home with poly-plastic tube plumbing. This pitiful method of potable water conveyance has long since been discontinued in the industry due to persistent leak problems. Consequently, for 5 years I have maintained an emergency repair kit comprised of more durable PEX tubing along with Flair-it couplings, elbows and tees. Now when I hear water spraying against the subfloor and joists in the quiet, wee hours of the morning I grab my Flair-it kit and trouble light and head into the crawl space. Usually in about an hour, depending on the location, leak is fixed, water pressure restored and I'm back in bed.

Love how these work. Put a shutoff on my RV toilet so if it leaks during a trip you can shut it off and use the rest of the water system. Took about 5 minutes to install while replacing the gaskets and water valve. Cheap insurance and peace of mind. Oops, this is a review for the shut-off valve. But same thing, I use and recommend all flair-it fittings. The only way I've found for splicing the outdated PB (Polybutelene) plumbing in my trailer to PEX.

I wanted to put all plastic in my van build to prevent freezing. However, these are more for irrigation than plumbing. I opted for Sharkbite instead. Nothing wrong with these connectors at all, just not what I needed for my project.
