So expensive! These have 99p written on the bag!!! Yet I paid £2.21!

rich and probably not the healthiest thing in the world - but tasty!
These are lovely! very crunchy, a little rich because of the deep-fried nature of them, and with a satisfying unique spicy savoury flavour to them. I can't put my finger on the flavour - I think it's down to the little tiny seeds in them. Something like jeera / cumin seeds or ajwan / carom seeds maybe? The ingredients list mysteriously just says "spices"! It's delicious whatever spices they use! It's a little hot but not toooo spicy (if I can take it - it must be on the milder side :))

Cofresh Indian Snacks - Not all that hot
First off - Cofresh do not seem to have any quality standards - these snacks vary from crunchy to hard (almost enough to damage tooth enamel). I've had them in India and they are crisp and crunchy without damaging your teeth.Secondly it's the rip-off price: most supermarkets around here in Scotland sell the 300g pack for £ 1.30 - £ 1.38 each; so I could buy 4 of them for the price you quote.Lastly - although it's not just these snacks, because Cofresh does it with their Cornflakes Mix "chewda" as well. Some years back it tasted real; these days it's bulked up with ridged potato crisps, with no flavour and a soapy taste. Very disappointed.
