This was a spur of the moment purchase as I'd wondered how much such a camera would cost these days. Lo and behold Amazon came through with a £30 camera. I honestly didn't hold up much hope in it working so well but on the first night of use I managed to capture several 1080p night vision movies of a friendly badger in our own garden!! On the same night captured movies of two cats, a squirrel and lastly a blackbird in the early hours of the morning and the camera had switched to full colour mode automatically. Must add also the sound recording is remarkably good too. A joyous purchase that really entertained the extended family over Easter.

So easy to set up and set the date and time etc and the quality is great. I use it to record the hedgehogs that live in and visit my garden and out buildings, and the neighbourhood cats I take care of that also eat and reside in my garden and outbuildings. Couldn't be happier with this camera. I could only add one video to the review but trust me I have so many, I didn't add a photo as I set the camera to video only setting. I will add pictures to this review once I've used it on that setting.

Using this as a security device. I have had proper security cams before but the infrared lighting is visible and does not deter intruders but merely makes them cover faces. The low glow is great there literally is no glow from this camera so hopefully we can snap some faces. I have constructed a bird house that the cam sits in, nothing like a bit of stealth trickery to outwit the nocturnal wanderings of these pests.

I bought this along with an SD card to capture wildlife in our garden and then in our local woodsBuild quality is really good and I comes with many attachments to let you attach it to a tree or use a bracket that is also includedI’d recommend using a sandisk ultra memory card with it too for faster capture and data transferMenu system is good and also very easy to use, really looking forward to what this camera captures for us and we will update with captured images soon too

I knew foxes were setting off my security camera but we’re faint and in the distance, and I got the idea for a trail cam to hopefully catch them with more clarity. I looked around and was pleasantly surprised at the cost of trail cams these days, so after reading reviews and comparisons I went for this model. You will have to buy an SD card (recommend 32gb max) and 8 x AA batteries but this is standard for any cam you buy.I put a plate of food out and waited until the morning like a kid waiting for Santa. Next day, I popped the memory card into my computer and was amazed at what it had recorded, I had a few visits from a beautiful fox, several cats, a stunning magpie and a nosey wood pigeon. The video is the first visit from the fox, I have been experimenting with different positioning of the camera, it comes with lots of attachments you can use to attach it to trees and it also has a thread on the bottom so you can put it onto a standard tripod.Very easy to use, you can be up and running within minutes.A couple of things, make sure the settings are set to full HD quality (they aren’t by default), and your card must be formatted in the camera (which takes seconds).

Simple to install and use and for the outlay really good quality pictures & videos both day and night!Brilliant for any location that doesn't have mains electric.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  We bought this to check up on the wildlife in our garden as we were trying to attract hedgehogs.Initial setup was a bit fiddly but once we'd worked out the optimal location for the camera we weren't disappointed with the results. The package did include a very useful strap and a wall plate with screw in mount. Now that I have sited it "permanently" I decide to use zip ties to secure the sturdy frame to my chosen location.The images are reasonably good quality and the sound is clear too. Actually found out that one of neighbour's cats is happily marking out his territory in our garden :)Can't comment on battery life yet but I suspect that I shall be investing in a couple of sets of rechargeable batteries as I see this camera getting a lot of use in the future.I could even see the possibility of buying another one of these in the future.
