I'm in love with this chicory brand. I used to get it from a local shop, just a bit cheaper, but not so finely grinded and not so pleasant. This one is fantastic, I mix it in a cup with cocoa powder and spices (cardamom, cloves (anti-parasitic), and if I need some warming effect - cinnamon and ginger powder, sometimes even a bit of turmeric for anti-inflammatory effect, but the taste changes. One may add a pinch of instant coffee, if there is a need for a caffeine stimulant. Add hot water and leave it for a few minutes to release its properties. I don’t filter it. One may add boiled milk, sweeten with honey or palm sugar crystals. It's a delicious drink, and my child loves it also.Chicory is a herb with medicinal properties, good for the liver and heart health, constipation, indigestion, high blood pressure. It acts as a prebiotic, meaning that it feeds the beneficial bacteria in the gut. It is said to boost blood sugar control, especially in people with diabetes.I prefer this natural finely grinded chicory, without additives and without the complicated processing for making the instantly dissolved variety.

Good coffee replacement. Big amount, enough for a few months…

Wow I had NO CLUE Chicory could taste this bad! It's roasted to almost burnt so it tastes burnt and much more bitter than it should. I've had some fabulously roasted subtle flavored chicory and this is such a huge let down. Not returnable either, which I think they expect since it's horrible stuff. Also has way too much dust in it. You'd need a coffee filter paper, because in a cup of this chicory you'd have half a cup of sedimentation. Unbelievably bad stuff and absolute waste of money.

Acts as a very good digestive fiber when mixed in ground coffee. It will alter the taste of your original coffee, but that's a personal choice.Not to be had by itself as a coffee replacement!

Totally taste like bru coffee without any caffeine or other harmful substance. Very easy to make in 30 seconds. and it has health benefits also . thank you

The taste is not bad but it's not that great either.It tastes somewhat like a filter coffee. We need to use strainer to filter out the powder before pouring into a cup. The powder doesn't dissolve completely with the milk. There are other brands which have great tasting chicory powder but they are expensive.

I expected at least a bit of coffee-like flavor - no such thing. There might be other benefits but I am not buying this product again.
