Down graded my rating due to a critical and functional failure
a little clunky but works.......I"m adding additional comments but leaving the rating the same.Found the weak link! It's the wireless fob that attaches to your "forgettable" items. the on/off switches are loose. Say you put one on your phone. As your phone jostles around, the switch has a tendency to turn off so that if it does get lost, it won't respond to the remote unit. This has happened on both my commonly used items (keys/phone). For $20 I'm not going to return the unit, as you really do get what you pay for. But this unit is lacking, and could easily be improved with a more robust/stiffer on/off switch. I suppose that is a critical issue since a good chance when you need it most, it may work. Actually, on second thought, i am going to downgrade this rating from a 3 to a 2.Another revision. The remote seems to be failing now too. I push a button on the remote and multiple fobs respond. I'm down grading my rating again to 1 as this is simply not working properly.Someone please advise me if the batteries may be suspect. But at $3 for a battery, i'm not investing to find out.Rating downgraded to a ONE (1)

The receivers could be smaller
If you use once it is already worth your money, may save 20 minutes or more each time you use it.Even placed on in my wallet, wish it was smaller, but still is acceptable size for my wallet.Attached to the obvious items:1- key chains2- cell phone3- iPad4- dog (kidding) although small pets that may disappear in the house/premises/wall holes etc may not be such a bad idea, just make sure that the ring is taped with electric tape so it does not get caught on anything which could restrain the pet potentially causing the pet harm, it happens more often than people think with key rings on pets collars for vaccinations tags/identification etc...5-walletLadies with small purses could benefit from it as wellIt works well even in an older construction with non drywalls, brick and mortar as well metal lath meshed walls, so far responded every time even 4 floors away. The receiver could be a little louder, but still is acceptable as long your keys is not buried under a very thick comforter or stuck in drawers etc as long as the receiver is not too muffled out you have a good chance of hearing it.USER SUGGESTIONS:1- If you can label the buttons on the base, all receivers sound the same, if you are on a hurry and don’t remember which button is for you may get frustrated chasing the wrong item2-remember to turn the receiver on, tiny hard to see switch, they are sent out off3- fix the base in a place where you will find4- make sure the receiver is working and test the distance is operable within the premises.

Works, but not at 80 db. Gets waterlogged
I have a very elderly cat who is often hiding in remote corners, under the couch, etc. I bought this so I could find her. The remotes were easy to set up. The unit works thru the walls. But the sound is far below 80 do. I used two different sound meter apps, and both put the maximum output at about 50db. That's when I have my tablet six inches from the tracker as it beeps. Fortunately, my hearing is good, and I can hear the beeping. But their advertising is definitely false . (Tested on two of the five tracker units, just set up and installed yesterday, so batteries are fresh)UPDATE: after wearing this for just a week, the kitty's tag was beeping over and over. That means the battery was low, even tho I hadn't used the beeper other than setting it up and testing the sound volume. I took it off, opened it and found the interior completely rusted. This thing is quite large, hangs down and apparently when kitty drinks from her bowl, it gets wet, and is not at all waterproof. Put in a fresh battery, then put tape along the entire seam to keep water out. Not good for cats or small dogs because of this.ANOTHER UPDATE: three days later and it starts it's continual beeping again, meaning that the battery is dying, again. Either these are nearly dead batteries, or this system is just not good at all. There is tape all around the bottoms and sides, so no liquid could have gotten in when the cat was drinking. Anyhow, if it can't take any water at all, it could never last if the animal went out in the rain....so for animals, this is a definite no go!

Unreliable, disconnects, and low battery life
I do not recommend this product. When you need it (that is, when you can't find your keys or other item), the odds of it working are very low. The battery life is horrible, and even when the battery is good, it seems to somehow lose its connection with the remote control. The devices make a clicking sound (apparently when the battery is low), but this just leads to shutting the device off and ultimately forgetting about it. With a key tracker, you want a device that you don't have to think about, and it just works when you need it. This isn't that device.

Stopped working after about a month
I found this device to be very useful, but after about a month of using it, it started to malfunction. Now, when I press the button sometimes all the receivers I have turned on go off and not just the one I'm pressing the button for. Moreover, sometimes they don't even stop beeping until I turn them off and sometimes not even then and I also have to get the battery out of the remote and then put it back in just to make the beeping stop!

Come in handy for a forgetful person
My dad has Alzheimer’s and these work perfect. He keeps losing his keys and we attached one of these to his key ring and his the remote from him. Now any time he loses his keys we can find them! You just have to keep pressing the finder button until you get close. It says it works up to 30 m and I think that is pretty accurate we have a decent size house and it works from one end to the house to the other. These have really come in handy for us.

Could be a little louder
Works as described, just wish they were louder. I've tried brand new Energized batteries and still the same results. Also, in our case it Did interfere with our wireless alarm system. Even if we were far away from the base station, it would sometimes set a verbal interference fault code. Other than those two things its made well Andres what its supposed to do.
