I bought the original version of this lamp in 2017 and used it extensively in my craft room mostly for jewelry making. In 2018, I bought one for my son for use in his workshop. This year, we moved to a new house and we needed a third one. Most of this review is about the newest lamp -- their three-in-one that can be used as a table, floor, or desk lamp.1. Quality: all three of the lamps get moderate use (5-20 hrs/week). One occasionally migrates to a dusty workshop; the rest are used in standard interior rooms. All still look like new and are holding up very well -- no loose components, no repairs, no failures.2. Light arrangement and magnifying element. I use the magnifying element several hours at a time for very fine jewelry and beading work and am in my late 60s. It is wonderful! The element is large enough to give me a good field of view so that I can see the beads and components and I can move around a bit which really helps with fatigue. The light falls so that there are very few shadows -- I have simply never had a better light-magnifier combo and love it. My son is an electrical engineer at a start-up and uses it when constructing trial circuits and prototypes and has the same observations.3. On-off switch. In the newest unit the on-off switch is on the rim of the magnifier and includes three settings: off, dim, and bright. Great placement. Very easy to turn on, make brighter, and turn off (to extend the life of the LEDs and save a bit of power).4. Dim vs bright. I use both settings, but my son only uses bright. For me, I have large windows in my craft room and only need the dim setting for a bit of extra task lighting during sunny days, but at night and on those rainy, dark days in Seattle, I really appreciate the bright setting.5. Three-in-one. The three-in-one option is only slightly more expensive and may be worth it to you. In my new house, I was unsure of the final arrangement (is any arrangement ever final?) and chose the options. I am using the desk lamp with the base (not the clamp on). It was very easy to but together, even by a older woman -- did not even have to get the tool box out. The cord connection to the unit is brilliant as it comes out above the extension with the small wiring typical for low voltage LED. No twisted cords in the column for this unit. The base is heavy and stable and allows me to constantly adjust the height and angle of the lamp -- sometime as a regular desk lamp, sometimes as a magnifier, sometimes as a lamp for a shared workspace.6. Looks. Finally, it is simply a nice looking lamp. We own two white ones and one in black. They are attractive enough that the rooms/desks (when clean) look ready for company.I would definitely buy again and give as gifts.

Heavy, quality lamp. Bright and very bright light, I like having that choice. I embroidery, cross stitch, quilt and crochet and was having trouble seeing. I thought I needed the magnifier but with this bright light I can see fine again. I do use the magnifier for threading needles so I'm glad I have it. I use it as a floor lamp and the base is heavy and doesn't tip if you lean it in the right direction. I like the touch switch. Light doesn't give off heat so you can get very close without burning yourself or getting hot. Perfect light for me. Great value because the price is much higher on other web sights. I think I'll order another one for my husband to clamp on his work bench. It has the clamp on option, which is very convenient. Even came with an allen wrench for assembly. Good range of height, can use sitting or standing. Packaging was very good. I really like this lamp. Definitely would recommend.

The light is super bright and works great! The light is easy to bend. The light does have a magnifying glass which does work well, I personally don't use it. I tattoo eyebrows so I'm constantly working under the light. That being said, I don't really need to move the light. The light and base have to face the same direction otherwise the light will tip. Mine has tipped over twice and didn't break!

I received this lamp as a Christmas present from my husband. Love it!! Heavy weight, sturdy. The light is super-bright. The magnifier is large enough that my projects can be seen without difficulty. The only negative I see is that, when used as a standing lamp, it is s little top-heavy and might tip over. Although, I am able to remedy this by tucking edge of base under the edge of my sofa. So excited that I can actually focus and clearly see my projects now!!!

This product is great in that I have 3 options of functionality! The light is high quality white light versus yellow light so it's easy on the eyes but gives you lots of brightness to see whatever it is you're working on. It has 2 light settings for brightness. I love the on/off/dimmer touch function. It's great when your hands are full. The magnification window is a good size and magnifies things quite well. The flexion of the lights neck is great. The only negative thing is that the table clamp doesnt have a locking pin or button of any sort so there is nothing securing the lamp itself to that clamp. It just sits in it.

I purchased this in the fall of 2023. I like the light and the magnification. The problem is the power cord provided is so thin it cracked where it connects to the plug after only a few months. It is still under warranty, so I contacted the company for a cord replacement. First, they sent the wrong one, but they did correct that by sending another. It is constructed just like the one that broke, so I am not really confident it will hold up any better.

Very easy to assemble. Very bright and bottom is so heavy it doesn’t tip over.

Sturdy well made lamp. 2-setting light. The box it was shipped in was pretty well destroyed because of the weight of the product, yet the internal box and foam were all intact, so it arrived safely.

I love to cross stitch and this makes it much easier as I get older. I do wish I got one that was a bit brighter.

Perfect product. Excellent magnifying, and easy touch brightness adjuster (no knobs or buttons to adjust brightness level). Can be set up as floor lamp, desk lamp, bench clip lamp height.

Love this magnifying lamp but the stand (tube part) just won't stay adjusted. Spins in place so the heavy base needs to be turned over once a month or so for the bottom screw to be tightened.
