I have just ordered a second pack of these as they are so good while my deerhound recovers from a badly cut toe which is proving difficult to heal. I see others rating them low because the silicon anti-skid paw sole has peeled off. I would say that has to have been a fault as my boy has given his socks a lot of wear and the silicon has stayed put. what has worn is where his (very long!) claws have worn through the front. His claws are extremely difficult to cut, even for a vet, as you really can't see where the quick is. And because of the current toe injury, we don't want to cut his claws just yet. To the person whose dog chewed through the sock overnight, I would suggest doing what we have done - when he's unattended, he wears a boot over the sock, and also wears that outdoors. Although the wound then can't really breathe, at least he can't get at it to lick! I would recommend the Bark Brite boots - expensive but very good and very durable. Have washed both socks and boots at 30°C and they've come up as new.

I have a 12 year old Border Collie who weighs 30kg. These socks fit him perfectly, are easy to put on, and they STOP him from skidding and falling on slippery laminate floors INSTANTLY! This product is made from good quality material so they will last but when I need more, I will definitely buy these again. THANK YOU! 😀

I purchased these for our young Border Collie bitch - we had just had her spayed and she was trying to scratch at her stitches and shaved areas with her back paws. These were perfect to stop her nails catching the stitches and scratching herself. She is a small collie so went for the small size and they fitted great. We used them with the tape supplied. I noticed from other reviews that people didn't know what to do once the tape ran out as they didn't know where to get it from. If it helps - the tape is called 'cohesive bandage' and can be bought in various widths - used for horses, dogs etc. Most pet places will sell it, or tack shops, and it is on Amazon too. Hope this will help those who have ran out of the tape supplied with these socks.

My elderly dog has been struggling to manage on hard floors, and these non-slip doggie socks have definitely increased his confidence. And also stop the click-click sound of toenails on the floor, which is a bonus. They come with tape to keep the socks up, although we've not used that as the socks seem to stay up OK on their own. The dog is quite happy with them and has made no effort to take them off.

My parents dog has been biting and licking his paws like crazy for months! Whilst waiting for results of an allergy test to come back I bought Dudley some of these socks....they were an instant hit! As soon as I put them on him he ran around with his tail wagging like crazy. After an hour or so of prancing round (with only 1 sock coming off after he stood on it with another paw) Dudley lay down and went into the deepest sleep we've seen him have for months, the relief from his paws was obvious to see. Dudley is a chunky cockerpoo with quite large paws and these fitted him perfectly. Hopefully once we know what he's allergic to he won't need them....but I don't think he'll give them up willingly!!

Was delighted with these at first. Good snug comfortable fit for my dog. Just the ticket. After a day however slight dissapointement as the rubber paw prints have started to peel off. I expected better for the high price. No washing instructions but they come up nice on a 20° wash. 3 stars may seem a bit harsh but i can get 4 pairs of good quality human socks for that sort of money and I at least expected the rubber to be more durable!EDIT! A week in and large holes have appeared in the sole of 2 of the socks and the rubber paw pads are now coming off all of them. My dog has only worn them around the house during the day. There is no excuse for charging £10 For this rubbish!

I liked these socks, I thought they were a good fit and was impressed with the anti-slip sole, the quality of the sock and also the bandage tape that came with it to further secure them. The only thing is that after using the tape to stop my dog pulling the sock off, during the night she just chewed through the sock and through the anti-slip sole so that she could continue to lick a wound in her pad. Not the socks fault, but just to note they can be chewed through if your dog wears them unsupervised. I would recommend them otherwise.
