Original Engine Management 8825 Neutral Safety & Reverse Light Switch

Solved the problem of hard shifting and transmission is now smooth. Electrical plug a little convoluted and the fitting was not quite the same.

This fit my 1991 F150 and took car of my reverse light issues.

You'll need to completely rewire this switch with the new adapters; a fact that isn't made clear at all.

Had to replace my original switch because my reverse lights were not working (Ford E4OD trans). This part did the trick. What wasn't mentioned is that you have to dissect your original plug to transfer to this new "upgraded plug". Was not a big problem, just a bit of an unexpected pain in the a##, especially when laying on the ground. Also, an additional tid bit of advice, be very cautious when removing the old switch that you do not damage the shift cable. All in all, this was the right part for the job, and a perfect fit.

Great product. Was exactly the same as the old one off my 92 Ford F-250 7.3 Idi. simple plug and play. Truck shifts and operates much better now. I would buy it again
