100% Egyptian Cotton Sheets King Size 1000 Thread Count 4 PC Light Grey Cotton Sheets for King Bed Soft Cooling Extra Long Staple Luxury Hotel Sheets Fits Upto 16” Deep Pocket

I was looking for another set of 100% Egyptian white cotton sheets in size Cal King like Macy's Charter Club sheets. Macy's did not have any available, so I looked on Amazon, taking a chance on these. These sheets are cool, comfortable and fit our deep pocket Cal King mattress. I would purchase these sheets again.

We replaced our old, thin mattress with a deep one, thus needed new sheets. The depth on these sheets is fine, but they are not soft. The colors are true, but the feel is scratchy. I've had to cover the pillowcase with an old t-shirt so as not to feel like my face is in sand. I'm hoping that more washes will soften the sheets, but having never had this problem with other sheets, I'm not going to hold my breath.

Much better than the misfitting, shrinking sheets from Minnesota.

Update upon refund: Minor Monkey contacted me after seeing my review and offered to refund my purchase and asked me to reconsider my review. They contacted me a couple days later to see if I would change the review and I said I would consider once the refund was processed. The refund came in about a month later and I have upped the initial 1 star rating by a star and half (rounded up to 2 since .5 not allowed) for good and attentive customer service, but stand by my review of the actual sheets I received. I may try another sheet set, and will adjust review as indicated, but am not quite ready to lay out $90 for sheets again just yet.ORIGINAL: I stayed with a friend and the grey sheets on the guest bed were so wonderful I asked where they came from. He said Minor Monkey via Amazon. Well, maybe it is color dependent, but the teal ones are horrible. I was so sure they would be great I didn't open them until after the return window but there is nothing good about them. They definitely are NOT 100% cotton, they are thin, not soft and the color is splotchy and the bottom sheet does not stay on my mattress. The next time I visited I brought my pillowcase to compare to his sheets and we both could tell they are definitely not the same. What a disappointment. I'm tempted to buy the grey since I liked them so much, but it isn't worth the risk.

These sheets have a high thread count and should be softer than they are. The sheets have to be ironed in order to get some of the wrinkles out. I would not recommend these sheets.

I don’t like the hand feel of the material. Rough.

I love the sheets themselves, just not as stretchy as I would like . There is no extra room for a queen pillow top bed. Also like when the sides and top and bottom marked and for the price you would expect

The sheet set was exactly as described and washed up beautifully (I did get a chuckle out of the ironing instructions!).Excellent quality and I will be buying more of these

Alright look, I would like to tell you that I just spent $120 bucks on a life changing product, or that this is the best thing i’ve ever slept on, but the truth is, between my $25 dollar Walmart polyester bedsheets (blue) and these $120 dollar Egyptian cotton bedsheets (grey) I can’t really tell the difference but that in my pocket. Maybe i’m just unsophisticated or my sense of touch is out of whack, but the $25 dollar bedsheets feel softer than these. Don’t get me wrong, this is coming from a guy who just spent 2 years sleeping with a “minions” blanket and whatever else I could grab from my parents when I moved out, now that I finished college I thought I would treat myself and get some big boy blankets and after spending some time looking up bedsheets and their materials, and what makes a good quality bed sheet, I came to the conclusion that this was it. Truth be told I can’t tell the difference! I do like the colour tho, but these might be one of those cases of “if your expectations are too high”, but I mean, at $120 dollars what should I expect? For $30 more I could’ve gotten a 9 piece set, not Egyptian cotton or 1000 thread count, but I could’ve thrown out all my old blankets (I still threw out the minion blanket, that had to go!) I would like to tell my friends I have a high quality $120 dollar blanket but i’m afraid they might roast me for it. Maybe time will tell if these blankets are worth the money but I mean, with the $25 dollar blankets I just dump them in the washing machine on whatever setting, dump fabric softener and aroma beads and call it a day, those sheets have been through war and back, and they’re still going strong, with these $120 dollar sheets I have to be so delicate with them when I wash them to the point where I think I might have gotten tricked into buying $120 dollar bed sheets. Only time will tell. I’m taking off a star for the “meh” quality at $120. They do feel a little bit thicker than $25 dollars sheets, not hotel thick, but thicker (picture included). I’m also taking a star off for the bad smell they had when I opened them, I don’t know anything about minor monkeys but these bed sheets sure smelt like it. After a wash they should smell good. But that initial smell, stunk up my room. Any other stars are for my pride, the colour and any “amazing quality” they might turn out to be in the future.

They arrived as advertised, in Minor Monkey packaging, fit perfect on a deep mattress and the feel, quality and color are excellent. Great purchase.

These sheets are very nice! After the wash, they softened up immediately. They are thick enough to sleep without a comforter.

I bought the sheets cause my old ones had a huge hole mad it was time to replace.They came on time.I’ve been using these set fro about a month now. It’s pretty good. Kinda thick cotton which is nice.Still kinda wrinkles but that’s ok; it’s expected of cotton material. I hate sheets that are wrinkle free just because it not really cotton; they mix man made material with it.The sheets have not yet soften even after many washes but that’s ok.. has a feel of thickness to it.
