I wear these around my ankles (flashing and facing behind me) when running at night. I also attach them to my dogs’ collars during late evening walks. We are much more visible!! My only concern is the difficulty in changing the battery once it dies. Out of curiousity, I tried to open the light to see the battery already inserted (it ships w/small screwdriver and extra batteries). For the life of me, once I got the teeny-tiny screws out, I could NOT get the back of the light off. I was thinking about returning them, but decided to recruit a friend to give it a try. I have yet to do that, and have used the lights successfully since. I guess I’ll just cross that bridge when I get there. :)

I do give this product 1 star for the velcro stap which I used to attach light to my dog's harness. When the batteries are fresh the blinking is very bright! But then so far we walk about 5 min and lights go out. Changed the batteries with the tiniest screwdriver ever seen by man. They lasted less than a week and started going out again!I plan to find lights easier to change batteries and not use these anymore.Don't waste your money!

Even though I wear an elastic, reflective safety suspender while walking my dog in the late afternoons and early evenings, I wanted extra protection. After receiving my red 2-pack light set, I clipped them onto my safety suspenders (one in front and one in the back) before taking my dog out for a walk at dusk. I saw a dramatic difference in reactions from drivers - they swerved way out of my way from about a quarter of a mile away as they approached me. I had it on the flashing mode to attract extra attention. They are bright and they do the job!

I wanted two lights to put on my dogs while walking them at night. These are perfect - they are brighter than the light I have on my head! The first setting is a solid light, and the second setting is a strobe light.These are very lightweight, and they come with a clip attached along with velcro straps, and extra batteries.If you want to be seen in the dark, I highly recommend these lights.

I ordered these so that I could clip them onto my dog's collars when I run with them at night. They are very easy to clip on to their collars. I love the ability to set them to steady, or to different flash settings. I can also clip them onto my biking jersey when I take night rides. I lost one of the three lights the first time I took the dogs for a walk, though. It was my fault because I tried to clip it onto a round leash, and it ended up falling off. I heard it fall, but it didn't dawn on me that it had fallen. The light was not turned on (it was not yet dark), so I couldn't find it. I might order another set because they are super bright. I bought the red color, and their only purpose is so the dogs can be seen. They do not light the street or pathway.

It's difficult to write a review on these as people aren't always looking for the same thing. I go walking at night in an area with no sidewalks and drivers who drive with their lights off. I bought these to draw attention to myself to oncoming traffic. You can select high beam, low beam, or flashing high beam. They are only about an inch long, so I wouldn't imagine they make you visible from any distance that would matter. I would suggest getting this in conjunction with other reflective material or clothing to be effective. I combine them with a reflective vest, and an LED flashing belt.

***UPDATE*** The seller saw my negative review below, and reached out to me. The were fast to act. They sent me a free replacement for the defective unit I received. These do work very well, and I appreciate the replacement and the fast service. Thanks!---------------------------------------------------------------- Nice deal if you get ones that are assembled properly. Only one out of the two were assembled properly, so I can only use one light. The light seems bright, and the added bonus reflectors look nice, but I will probably return this shabbily put together light. The pin that holds the hinge part together is hanging out of the unit, making it unusable. See attached pics. Manufacturing FAIL!

I use these for walking the dog and on my bike. These new brighter ones are really bright and no way will you be mistaken for anything else in low light conditions. I see a lot of cyclists that have expensive lights that suck. Very bright in the front but the back lights are so dim you can’t see them. The back of the most important side to be seen by oncoming traffic! I have the blue and the green and they will get attention. The small elastic I use as a ring so I can easily position my hand at oncoming traffic when walking and have one attached to the dog.These are awesome.
