"Go to" baby shower gift.
This is my "go to" baby shower gift. There are only 940 Saturdays from the time your baby is born until they turn 18 and when you think about it in those terms, it makes you realize that each and every one is special. This book provides an easy format to write something about each and every one of those 940 Saturdays. A wonderful present for the parents to be or even for yourself.

Love this little book.
I love this book. I now own three of them, one for each of my younger kids and I love writing in them. It's like a journal for them to look at in the future. I also like their little idea pull out booklet.

Brought tears to the new moms eyes
This was a gift for a dirst time mom. It brought tears to her eyes. I will definitely be ordering this for all the new mommies I come access in the future.

Such a great idea!
This is such a great idea. I saw it in a local store but as I usually do I check Amazon.com and it was cheaper. When it arrived I couldn't want to wrap it for a friend who is expecting.

A pricey journal
940 Saturdays by Harley A Rotbart, M.D. is a journal in which parents can keep track of all the fun things they do with their child each week. Instead of trying to do a baby book or extensive scrapbooking, this book allots about one paragraph or half a page of space to jot down notes or even tape a picture of what you did.The number 940 accounts for the number of Saturdays you have from birth until your child turns 18. In the back of the book, there is an envelope containing a small booklet with over a thousand suggestions on family activities to do together.Quite frankly, this is an expensive notebook. Although it's nicer than a notebook, it's not exactly frugal. I suppose it would make a nice baby shower gift. I wouldn't pay the retail price of this book for a bunch of lined paper and a suggestions list. I suppose someone who really has no ideas might benefit from the suggestions, but I don't have a problem finding things to do on Saturdays or any other day!Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for writing an honest review. I did not receive any other compensation.

We have grand children now and I want to remember the joy of watching them grow
I give this book to parents as a gift for their new babies, but am considering getting one for myself. I've never been able to write in a journal every day but I figure I can handle a once a week summary. We have grand children now and I want to remember the joy of watching them grow. This book looks like it will be great for that.
