Quick install, although you need to move a battery power cable from the old unit to the new battery. Easy to do, and took less than 3 minutes to install the new battery.I had tried another cheaper replacement version - didn't work, laptop never recognized the unit, and wouldn't charge. This replacement from SiKER worked immediately and has restored the battery capacity for my latitude laptop. I get 4+ hours under heavy use, and up to 8 hours on moderate or light use with this replacement. Perfect for my needs.

Added to my Dell Latitude E5450, replacing a battery that was working however was ready to burst. Everything seemed to be working well at first. I replaced the battery and left the laptop off while plugged in to provide a full charge. the next day it booted fine and recognized the battery and indicated it was at 100% charge. So far so good. then about 1-2 hours later, the laptop started to reboot on it's own - with a battery ow voltage warning barely visible before it went down; losing my work. Then it did it again just a few minutes later, then again and again. Finally I removed the battery and ran the laptop without any battery without any issues. Definitely a battery problem. Wasted $40 for a DOA battery.

UPDATE:I had to jump through some hoops to tell windows to ignore the battery, and of course microsoft reenabled this with an update. The battery lasted a little over a year and a half before it swelled up and pushed the bottom panel of the laptop out. During the service life of the battery it worked well and gave me a consistent 2/3 hours of run time (I keep windows settings cranked up to performance, and then some) so I was very satisfied with the battery.Be very careful when replacing your battery. Remove the connector on the motherboard then take the old battery out. Note the position on the connector, especially the depth of the cable connector into the battery. Carefully remove the connector at the battery and plug it into the new battery. Make sure if completely seated into the battery connector socket. Run the cable in the channel and place the battery in the laptop. connect the cable to the laptop making sure it is firmly seated into the connector.The new battery fit perfectly and charged completely. I will be monitoring performance over the next few weeks but after 2 hours of running on battery I can say that this battery is lasting about as long as the original battery.

This was a perfect replacement for my DELL Latitude E5450. It holds a charge and hasn't expanded. It took less than a minute to replace and now I feel safe with a battery in good condition.I have been using this for about a month and a half and it is working great. We will see how it holds up after a year or two, but I see no reason to not give it 5 stars.

The battery lasts less than I expected in normal use, if I watch videos it discharges very quickly and it has more capacity than the original battery. Or is it a battery failure, please seller, how do I contact it?

I'm sure the battery isn't a bad battery, but it is not compatible with the Dell E5550, as mentioned in other reviews I wish I would have read before ordering. It's possible with some work that you can get it to function, I read somewhere that if you "flash the BIOS" that it should work. I wasn't looking to purchase a project, so I had to return it.

Very happy with this battery. Some of these reviews scared me off, but for my Dell Latitude E5450, this battery is working perfectly.
