You be the judge, I only use this paste.
IT professional, PC Enthusiast, Gamer, ETC here. Just putting in my 2 cents regarding this product. I personally and professional only use this thermal paste. It's inexpensive, but in my experience, superior quality. I've used this on many devices, some of which are running a few years plus with this paste. No problems whatsoever. My main work CPU was running quite warm, after applying this paste, no issue to be had since. I now idle at 34C, which is the bottom end of suggested idle temp for the Haswell processor in my machine (Skylake bottom is 24C which I've seen on machines running with this paste). Under load I only see up to 60-65C which is considered normal (but on the high end). Now keep in mind I'm not using any aftermarket cooler, simply the stock cooler. If I was to use an aftermarket I feel these numbers would be even lower. Now I see people referring to the Thermal Conductivity stats on this and other pastes saying that because these stats aren't as good as others this paste is inferior. With anything technology related I find numbers are simply irreverent for the most part. Perhaps use to give you an idea of the possible performance of the product, but overall it comes down to the real world application. Some items are not as good as their stats, some are better than their stats. Until you see their real world usage it's really hard to judge.

Some decent cheap thermal paste.
Gonna be real, I have no idea if this stuff is actually high performance or not. What I can say, is that I have used it on a variety of machines with a variety of air coolers which all have worked well and stayed within their respective boost ranges based on the cooling available. Can get roughly 2-3 computers in each syringe, easy to apply, stuff lasts years, even came back to buy more of these after my first set ran out. Worked well on a FAT PS3 to boot. Can recommend these to any lightweight computer builders who don't need a ton of bulk thermal paste lying around, are on a smaller budget, but want some leftover in case you mess up or just like to have some on hand like me.

Why pay more?
Okay - if you're a serious gaming enthusiast who is going to argue over 1 or 2 degrees of cpu temperature - skip this. Otherwise - don't pay more. There;s a TON of paste here and after building probably 30 systems - never had a single problem. Don't pay more.

Standard stuff, it helps the flow of heat and whatnot.
Not too much I can say about this, its your bog standard gray thermal paste and you get 5x tubes. My technique could be poor but when replacing a pair of Xeon 5570's I burned through almost a full tube on both where artic cooler 5 seems to go wayyyy further. However I recieved 5x 1.5g tubes for the same price as their 3g tube so there is something to be said for that. Also works great with a peltier drink cooler I built.

Cheap but good.
When looking for good thermal paste for multiple Alienware Alpha’s, I decided to keep cost in mind. I know Artic makes great paste as I’ve used in all of my other machines in the past, however priced at approximately $20 per container makes for a high expense to replace paste on both the CPU and GPU. Before re-pasting the average gaming temperature was 74c or apx 165F for the i7 model, and average of 78c or 172F for the two i3 models (note the i7 has 16GB ram where the i3 only have 8GB). After cleaning the old what would be paste (white gunk) off the CPU’s and applying the new paste then letting the machine cool for 4 hours from the last use, I tested them again. The i7 was apx 58c and the i3 apx 63, but once heated up through a lot of game play the temp reached 65c i7 and 71c for the i3’s. That drop is a significant amount of gain for game play and stops the choppy play back I was getting. I did this for both the CPU and GPU but did not record GPU temps. There were no other changes made to the systems, fans were not cleaned out etc. This paste is a good buy and I shall see how its holds up over time, which is my only concern that is shall dissipate. I shall update in a month or so.
