Poor quality - shuts off from small bumps/rattles.
This pack is a piece of garbage. The batteries fit too loosely inside, and the current is momentarily interrupted when going over small bumps - this causes the bike light to shut off, and the cord must be unplugged and then replugged in order to turn the light back on - not very ideal when going downhill 40+ mph in the dark. Do yourself a favor and instead get the similar TrustFire 6x 18650 pack at the following URL which is the same price roughly, constructed with superior quality, and does not experience interruptions because of its robust design. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CV44ZDQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ogtoCbTGQJPBE

Good replacement for a Cree T6 bike light battery
Replaced an old shrink wrapped 4-cell 8.4v battery for a Cree Xml T6 bike light. This will work with either 4 or 6 18650 cells. With 6 Li batteries the Cree burned for 6 hours on high ! This case also has a USB power socket. The batteries can only be charged an 8.4v charger (NOT SUPPLIED), but if you are replacing an old light battery pack that charger will work fine. Also be aware this case is larger than a shrink wrap battery pack. It is 4.25 " tall and the old battery pack is about 3 " tall, so it is taller and bulkier, but with 50% more output capacity.

Seems solid enough to reside inside bike bag.
This 6-batter version is better than the 4-battery version merely because it has two screws holding the lid on. Am vaper with plenty 18650 batteries to repurpose, and chargers. Needed something to revive old Cree T6 bike light. Seems well built. Can actually screw and unscrew both lid screws at same time. This might help understand how small this thing is. Easily fits into small handlebar bag. Small gripe...one lid screw thread slightly damaged...if done gently, hopefully, over time, I can restore threads and have no issue getting threads to not cross-thread. Am currently using only 4 batteries. When light is hooked up, it's little power indicator light is lit up...whether this pack's power button is depressed, or not...I just unplug when not in use. This device's power button only works the usb out. Have not tried to connect power source-to-this device to charge batteries inside this device. Mounting strap is...well...a nice velcro strap, but doesn't keep device secure enough. I tried wrapping some sandpaper tape around bike frame. It did keep this from bouncing around, but this will reside in bike bag.

Good battery pack enclosure for the $$$
This is a nice enclosure for the price. It's feels solid and the lid & connections seem to be waterproof. This device allowed me to use higher quality Samsung cells in a battery pack for a LED bike headlight. I know the enclosure mentioned it has over drain protection but I'm not sure about that. After running my battery pack until the light turned off each battery cell was around 3V which can be to low to safely recharge these batteries.Test rig: 3 LED Bike light set to highMy original 4 cell battery Runtime: 1hr 23minThis encloser with5 Samsung cells + 1 G eneric cellRuntime: 4hrs 55min

Decent enclosure
I have used a set of 18650 batteries to run my lights and recharge my phone during bike rides for several years. My problem was the packs were not weather proof and often failed due to corrosion. Because of how popular 18650 batteries are they can be obtained fairly cheap. So I decided to try these enclosures and I'm pretty satisfied with the results. I have two enclosures. I only use one at a time, but I always like to have a spare (in case I forgot to charge the night before) and multiday rides. I was a little concerned about he hard plastic holding up to rough riding, especially in bitter cold, but they seem to be doing alright. It would be nice if they made an 8x or 10x pack for really long trips, but keeping additional 18650s in a sealed bag works.

The 6-pack works well, but could use a pouch
I use these to power some wicked-bright multi-LED bicycle lights for a couple/few hours at a time. These hold my protected Panasonic cells with no problems. The knobs to tighten this are a bit cumbersome. I tend to hold down the cover on each end with my fingers then tighten down the knobs simultaneously.Of my biggest gripes is the fact that this comes with a rather weird strap instead of a pouch. A pouch would be a lot better to deal with, especially with the strap. All in all, it's a great housing. Beats having sealed packs with cheap cells in them.

Works much better than the 4 cell version
So far, working as expected. Works much better than the 4 cell version, even with only 4 batteries, and will drive my USB devices even when the batteries have been run down. Get this 6 cell version, only use 4 batteries, but bump up to 6 when you need it. I use it as a water resistant battery box to recharge my USB devices while hiking or biking, with 4 batteries in it most of the time. This would be perfect if it could be charged from USB, 12v, and direct solar.

it's bulky
I bought this hoping to replace a manufactured battery pack for a bike light, that has started to fail. I figured, since I have 18650's and a confident quality cell charger, this holder makes sense. It works. It provides an enclosure and outputs the voltage needed through the right size cable plug. However, for my intended usage, for the advertised usage, on a bike... it's horrible. It's huge, the plastic is "crispy" (tap on it, it sounds hollow and you get the feeling it will likely crack into pieces if you drop it), and the one piece "Velcro" strap is not sufficient to hold it in place anywhere on any non-flat frame. It does however fit into a bottle cage. Reminds me of the BLT days... but those were designed like bottles. If it was not so needlessly big, or if it was slightly contoured to hug something round, or if it had a silicone/rubberized surface so it can help keep it from moving around when strapped to the frame... any ONE of those.. and it would be a 3-star, relative to price. But for what it is, I don't think the value is there for 21CAD, unfortunately. It works. It is as described. There's nothing broken. It was shipped by Amazon, so everything was speedy and good.

Issue with Cable: Cable can twist and break the four wires inside.
In my opinion, the manufacturer needs to make two small changes to the cable. 1: the small wires inside the cable need to be longer inside the battery connect lid so the are less likely to get move around and broken off. 2: the cable needs to be secured so it can not be rotated where it enters the battery connection lid. If the cable rotates very short internal wires will break off the circuit board that controls battery charging and power distribution. I love this battery box it allows me to use my bike headlight when I go on 8 hour night time treks. In my case the battery box was delivered Oct 14, 2018 it is now January 01 29. The cable rotated enough times that the small wires inside the cable broke off the circuit board. I did contact the vendor about a week ago and have had not response. Because I need to use the battery box and my light this week I opened battery connection top. I removed the 4 screws to access the circuit board. I had to de-soldered the 6x battery connection springs, this allowed me to remove the circuit board from the top part of the battery connect lid. I could see right away that three of the wires were broken off the circuit board. Fortunately it was easy to see what positions the wires to on. I remove a longer part of the black cable cover. stripped the plastic from the four small wires and soldered them back into place. There is a "C" clip that holds the cable cover from coming out of the red case. That "C" clip unfortunately does not stop the cable from rotating. I scraped the red plastic around the hole where the wire goes with a small knife to create a rough surface. I then put hot glue inside and outside of the cable. The hot glue hopefully will stop the cable from rotating and stop it from breaking the wires. I soldered the battery connection springs back in place, put the screws back in place. Put the battery connect top back on the base and screwed it down. Attached my iPhone and my bike head light. Pressed the little blue button to provide power to my iPhone. Yeeeeeh!!! have power to my iPhone again. Turned on my Head light, cycled through High, Medium, Low and Flash. Back in business. I really do like this product. 12+ hours of 1/4 bright light. 8 hours on full power light. The batteries are from two old laptops. Found 12x out of 18x 18650 LG batteries that were all still good. I now have a great energy source that will charge my phone and light. I bought two of these battery boxes one for me and one for my wife. I bought them because I had previously purchased 4x really bright lights that came with 4x batteries in a shrink wrapped package. The light are fantastic, batteries were garbage and all the batteries failed after only 2-4 months. These battery boxes are the almost perfect solution.

Still satisfied after a couple months of use.
After a couple.months of use, I'm still satisfied. I usethe battery pack to power lights for cross country skiing and winter biking. The run time is much longer than the original battery packs. I am hopeful that since each battery is charged separately they will also last for years, but we'll see about that.

good
good pack , should have low voltage shut off to protect batteries . does not ,major flaw, potential cell killer if not recharged when 1 led light is on
