Pretty cool Laptop
I am loving the experience so far. However found to tiny dents on the lid cover.I understand the product is refurbished but didn't expect any physical damage on it as it was advertised as "like new".Nevertheless it works like new and I am happy that it can handle all the software development i'll be doing on it.Lets see how it fares over the next couple of months.

Quality and longevity is what I require. I think this computer solves both problems
So far so good. One issue that I had is The hard drive makes a loud spinning noise when booting. It’s happened twice. Both times I had to reboot and worked ok. But I have a feeling I have a hard drive that isn’t a 100 percent. But that’s why I purchased a 3 year warranty. I hope I never need it, but it goes up, I will be covered.Other then that I’m glad I upped the memory to 32 Gigs of ram and went with I-7. The computer boots up to a working screen in 20 seconds. Internet screen 1 second. This beast is bad to the bone. Spend the extra money for the ram. It’s well worth it.

Terrible heat and charging issues. Don’t buy.
Terrible purchase. I needed stylish laptop because I go to meetings with clients and needed to look sharp. I had bern a Mac user for years but the heat issues and the inability to switch parts bugged me, so after researching for months, and watching tons of Youtube reviews raving about this laptop, I decided to give it a try. It’s got great speed and performance for video and graphics work. But that can’t make up all the problems this laptop has.I’ve been using it for a year and had heat issues from the very start. THIS LAPTOP GETS EXTREMELY HOT. If you commit the fatal mistake of getting your laptop to sleep instead of hibernate and put it in a laptop case it gets BURNING HOT and your whole case/backpack burns like hell.Don’t even dream of using this on your lap because you’ll get red burn marks. The charger (which always got extremely hot to the point of burning my skin) always had issues and now it stopped working completely. It keeps the laptop on but DOESN’T CHARGE.The design of the charger is absolutely TERRIBLE: that cable that plugs onto the computer has a backward design against the power adapter so it gets stretched constanly and started peeling from the very beginning. I tried to duct tape it close to the adapter but it gets so hot that the duct tape’s adhesive simply melts off.DON’T BUY THIS.

DO NOT BUY NO MATTER WHAT
I have recently purchased a brand new Dell XPS 15 with 1TB SSD, 32GB RAM, NVIDIA 1050 TI and literally the performance is worse than my Macbook Pro 2013 running windows in Bootcamp. I have contacted Dell Support within the first 2 weeks over 3 times and they tried to fix the issues however the computer just got worse and worse.Best part about all of this is that after wasting over 5 hours with Dell support they told me to go through Amazon where I bought it from and Amazon told me to go through Dell Support:). The worst ever laptop I have purchased by far. My screen was running at an average between 5 and 20 FPS and my battery life was not lasting more than 2 hours. Best part about it is that even when I try to write an email outlook crashes 50 percent of the time literally. If you do not believe just reply back to my post and I will send you screenshots of the computers shitty performance.Dell if you are going to reply to this dont suggest to go back through support because you sold me shitty laptop that you are not willing to replace :) you just want me to spend more and more time on it as my warranty runs out. Already contacted you 2 times within the first 2 weeks and now literally 30 days later you reply back "sorry we cannot replace the laptop its been over 30 days." Im a strong believer in what goes around comes back around and I trully hope that Dell suffers badly as much as they have made me suffer, saving money for 6 month in order to buy an absolute shit of a laptop. :)

Very good laptop
Hard drive crashed on 11/28/2020. Cannot get another one yet due to delays in Dell's processing.
