Our microwave stopped working after it tried turning on while my wife was reaching inside. When she tried turning it back on, only the cook timer would come on, not the magnetron. After some research several people suggested checking the door switches. There are three - one for the timer, and the other two for door open & closed positions. I did a continuity check and confirmed the open switch wasn't working properly.Since the price wasn't much more for the two pack, I decided to get these and replace both. They look, feel, and fit exactly like the OEM switches I removed. Same brand also, Starion. Microwave worked like a charm afterwards. If you do this yourself, make sure to unplug the unit first, and watch out for any capacitors as they can store a hefty charge! Great price for the quality. Very happy with my purchase!

i have the ge pvm1870sm3ss and it would randomly shut off while heating food. it was utterly frustrating and with some online search was able to find some sort of solution...i was skeptical whether I ordered the correct part since there seems to be some variations or whether this part will fix my issue. when i received the item, the part appeared to match. I went ahead with the install and after testing a few times this part seemed worthless and ineffective. I opened and closed the microwave door a few more times, turned it on a few times and things just started working consistently. That was 2 months ago and microwave still works today. These replacement parts saved from buying a new microwave.

I put these in a 2017 model GE microwave that kept tripping the breaker when the microwave was turned on. This instantly fixed the problem. However, one of the switches was defective, and I had to replace it. However, due to the low cost 8t was not that big of a deal. This little doodad saved me lots of cash from a small appliance repair company. Easy install with the help of YouTube.

When my Microwave went out, all I wanted was a part right away to fix it so we can use the microwave again. First I watched a YouTube video on how to replace it. It looked so easy that I ordered the part from Amazon and got it the next day. It was a perfect fit and easy to replace. Before you replace it I would take a picture of the wire so you know what color connects to the top and what connects to the bottom of the switch. You can also take a sharpie before you disconnect it off of the old switch and write top and bottom that way when you unplug the old wires off the old door switch you know which one goes back on the top and which one goes back on the bottom. Check the part number on the old switch that you remove and order the same model. This was a perfect part that was delivered the next day with PRIME service!

it was an easy fix and worked great after 8 months. The same problem occurred again, no heating and base plate is not spinning. ordered another brand and try it out, have to wait a few more days to get the replacement.

My husband is a very handy guy. Our microwave had stopped heating and turning. He youtubed the problem and found this door switch needed to be replaced. So happy it worked!
