Let Go of Concensus Reality
If you down with a one-by-one foot square book, virtually unedited of all the cuss words, you cannot go wrong Richard Metzger's latest orchestration. Like the last book, "You Are Being Lied Too," there is something here for everyone. First of all, the cast of contributing disinfobots (a term which refers to Disinfo contributors and readers alike) cuts across the board: acclaimed American historian Howard Zinn; founder of Adbusters Kalle Lasn (visit his website at [...] author best-seller "No Logo," Naomi Klein; award-winning journalist, Greg Palast; author and environmentalist, James Ridgeway; and many many others. In this book, you will learn about everything-from Olympic Industry Mythology to the underlying conspiracy evidence of the 9-11 attacks. You will discover - as you never have before - such subjects as: pornography, prostitution, labor history, mushroom clouds, Pan Am flight 103, Waco, nuclear power, interesting true crime stories, globalization's dirty money, TV addiction, domestic violence, religion and feminism, the European Union, corporate watchdogs, Delta Force and Army Ranger Commando ops, drug companies, Osama Bin Laden, "Kadaffi," and the emergence of China as global economic big boy, among other things.Perhaps the best thing about this book is not its depth and range - neither of which are lacking - but its ability to unearth new facts and perspectives, and present them in straight-forward, no-nonsense language. If you are trying to break through the mainstream "multimedia megaplexed info-flood" and discover an alternative (and equally believable) version of what is real, this latest disinfo guidebook will serve as a terrific companion. By simply reading the book, you too will become a disinfobot. For further information, articles, and access to the occult Disinfo Chat House... where you can fly your freak flag as high as the sky.

Pick and choose
This is an anthology of accusations and suspicion mostly with an American slant. Some articles I found informative, some of little value to a non- US resident. I found the book too large to comfortably hold in bed and the print rather greyish, making it difficult to read in some lights. There is a large dose of sarcasm and buzz-words in some of the articles, and for my taste, it lacks value intellectually, leaving much of the content unsubstantiated/poorly referenced. Some content is over the top sensationalism, some will make you really think hard, but the overall quality of articles is inconsistent. Much, if not all of this information is available from other sources, principally the Internet. I did however find it convenient that I could pick and choose which article I read, long or short and of the topic that appealed at the time. Would I buy the book again? No. I think there are better written books in this genre and ''Everything you know... '' simply didn't have enough articles of world interest for my liking.

Not bad, but could do with a new title.
Each essay is well written and most of the time an interesting argument is presented. You cant help but raise an eyebrow at some of the references though (or lack of them).Unfortunately the book assumes that you are American, or at least in touch and in tune with a lot of what goes on over there. There are many political and social references made that I have never heard of.So I think the book should be renamed'Americans: Everything you know is wrong'

Full of hard to find information and little known facts
It is a large book (double columns on each page, but broken up nicely into stories that will amaze and surprise you (or make your blood boil). Good reading for someone just getting into alternative thinking (not main stream media reports)and conspiracy-based answers to questions that beg for answers. So much has been covered up in the history of America to the present day.
