Zapmatik Killer, Fly Zapper 40w

Quick update: Was great value at £21.99 but at £34+ no so great.Having owned a similar device for many years I realised that the UV bulbs become less affective over time. The previous item was being used in a private kitchen but the flies just weren't going for it. I realised this item can be bought for the same price as a new set of bulbs but had better features and wider surface area. The item works really well, has an on off switch on the unit itself and you can hear the loud audible bang as the bugs get zapped, makes the dogs twitch everytime. I bought a second one as flies were attracted to the smells from the indoor rabbit in my son's room at the heat of summer. It worked a treat. Highly recommend it as a safe alternative to chemicals especially if you keep fish or other pets.

Works well and does as expected. 2 out of the 4 screws holding the guards on which need to be removed for cleaning out were damaged and cross threaded so I cannot remove

Easy to set up and it works. Flies and other insects killedBUTThere is a very loud zap noise when an insect hits the electrified grid, and if they don't bounce off, they stay stuck to the grid and fry. Smoke and sparks as they are 'cooked'. There's also a smell of burning from the bodies, which doesn't last long.It does the job, but I won't be leaving it switched on when I'm in the room

It’s huge - doesn’t look like the picture - it’s almost three time’s the size. Works great but was expecting a discreet unit for my kitchen and not an industrial size.
