Easy install, and perfect fit.
I had an O2 sensor fault. The dealer wanted more than double for just the same sensor, so I decided to look around for an alternative. This part showed as being compatible with my 2003 Audi allroad 2.7T, in additional to several other makes/models. In case you were unaware, Bosch is the manufacturer of many of the VW/Audi parts, including O2 sensors. Upon initial inspection, I found the replacement to appear to be identical in both shape and construction as the original. It was easy to install, and simply worked. The kit comes with 2 different wiring harness housings. One of which is pre-installed. For my application, I had to swap out the housing to the other which was included. Unfortunately the included instructions do not show much about this part of the process. If you are not familiar with VW/Audi wiring housing, I strongly suggest searching for a how-to and/or video on how to remove the cable terminals from one housing and install them into another. It's not difficult, but does require the know-how, otherwise you can damage/break the housing and/or terminals. Summary: Item was compatible and worked flawlessly. Easy to install, with no fitment issues. This O2 replacement is identical in shape, appearance, function, and quality as the original, but at less than half the price you would pay at the dealer. Recommended!

Direct Fit / Replacement
I bought this for my 2002 Beetle Turbo S, downstream. It is an exact replacement, plug and play. The only issue is the cable/cord is much longer than what came on the car. It’s easily solved with a few tie straps however. There is an additional plug included in the box, maybe it’s ised for some other cars? For the Turbo S however, no cutting or splicing is required. Remove the two bolts in the band clamp that join the cat pipe and intermediate pipe. They’ll most likely break, go to Lowe’s and buy stainless steel to replace them. The cat pipe will drop enough to allow you to remove the sensor from the cat. I used a 7/8 line wrench and tapped it with a hammer. Easy peasy, lemon squeezey.

Works great but harness is way too long.
Fixed my problem (mice chewed through the original sensor wires). Only issue is that the wire harness is at least twice as long as the original one. It's the correct sensor so I have no idea why it's so much longer.

Difficult job to replace!
Was a tough job to install this sensor as it was located behind the cat. Had a check engine code that identified this as the back sensor that failed, darn it! The new sensor had a longer cable so I just rolled it up in a loop with a cable tie and everything was good. After driving the car for a day, the check engine light finally cleared and went out. This was for a 2005 Audi A4 1.8L turbo. Don't attempt the install unless you have an O2 sensor socket and a swivel 1/2 inch adaptor and a long 1/2 inch extension and ratchet. The only way to change... is to reach over the top of the transmission and replace by bending far over the top and back of the engine. It was difficult to remove the original sensor as the car has 102,000 miles on it. Never want to do this again!

Works well. Solved my CEL
Alot of people day don't buy these cheaper ones and get the OEM ones as the CEL will come back. Well, this one worked for me. Been a few months and no light on dash.

Cord is way, way too long
Fit and works. Connector was the correct connector. Harness is way too long, though. I know this is likely due to it fitting several different vehicles, but it was three times longer than the cord on my original sensor. I wrapped it back on itself and used zip ties to hold the cord together. It worked. Installed on a 2001 Audi TT Quattro with the 225HP AMU engine.
