Can I observe bacteria with this?

Hi we have observed dog sperm with it and if bacteria is around the same size you’ll have no problem seeing it.

I make perfectly clear observation with 4x and 10x magnification, but impossible to see anything with 40x, how can i do?

as you know, the 40x magnification is the highest, so it is also the most difficult to focus.make sure you can see the objective clearly with 10x, then fine-focus in 40x, i can find the clear image with this way.hope it will be helpful.
