Blocks harsh wind sound

Packs down small but cuts a lot of wind noise. Just what I needed.

Fits very nice and tight on Zoom H1n and also Sony PCM A10 very nicely.

After taking some measurements on the media mod I purchased this to kill some extra wind noise for an on-car setup. It fit like a glove and the handy strap allowed me to zip-tie-tether it to the camera around the foot mounts as a precaution. It still held up to highway speeds without slipping and all the while without clipping the audio.I would recommend trimming a little bit for the front display but the muff still never enters the FOV.A Good Buy!

Will get you by in light breeze but will need a foam cover under it for stronger winds. Fits well on old version of the Zoom H1. Worth the money.

When you just have to record in windy conditions you can't beat a set of these. If you have a speaker or presenter who uses too much air when they speak when you get those annoying little puffs over the speaker, just put on of these on and problem solved. I purchased these specifically because they fit over my field recorder, But they fit over your typical round head condenser mics. Great for cutting out those puffs from your speakers and presenters and they cut wind noise beautifully if used in a field record of setting.

I use my Zoom H1n to make field recordings of bird songs and calls, which means I am almost always dealing with wind when I record. This simple windscreen will not eliminate wind noise if there's a moderate breeze or stronger blowing, but it will cut it way down, making it possible to get useful recordings in situations where I couldn't before. In light to gentle breezes, wind noise is practically eliminated and is much more effectively cleaned up with a high-pass filter. The windscreen does add some bulk, of course, but my recorder still fits in a pocket of my cargo pants.

Perfect for the use I purchased them for. I'm doing a podcast and am using some SM58s and put a foam windscreen on the grills then this over the foam. Plosives are gone. Cost less than a Shure A81WS on an SM57 although (of course) it doesn't sound like an SM7B but gets a good sound for far less.

Even the lightest breeze will add horrible noises to an audio recording, so some sort of wind protection is essential. This does the job at an agreeable price.

Habe mir die Deadcat für Motorradaufnahmen mit einem Zoom H1n zugelegt und bin sehr zufrieden. Der Windschutz liegt gut an und erfüllt seinen Zweck zuverlässig. Der Ton wird klar aufgenommen und Windgeräusche gut ausgefiltert. Die Härchen flusen soweit auch nicht aus und ich gehe mal von einer guten Haltbarkeit aus.Alles in allem eine zuverlässige Deadcat mit ordentlicher Funktion.

Habe mir diese Katze für meinen Zoom H4n Pro bestellt, weil das Originalzubehör etwas arg überteuert ist. Diese Katze passt perfekt auf das Gerät und tut genau das was sie soll - Windgeräusche sind kaum bis gar nicht mehr zu hören auf den Aufnahmen. Die Klangqualität (hohe Frequenzen) wird nicht beeinträchtigt.Klare Empfehlung!
