Excellent results even with less than recommended amount
I have an older cat and ordered this but was hesistant to use it because it contained garlic. I've subsequently read conflicting articles on how bad allium family foods such as onions and garlic are for cats but it mostly seems dependant on the amount consumed. It is bad if a cat ate a clove at one time. My guess is this whole container contains maybe one clove (one separated section of the entire regular sized garlic) which shouldn't cause problems. But still i erred on the side of caution and been only adding a pinch (recommended amount is one teaspoon) to his soft cat food. Even with this small amount i've noticed and improvement after only a few days in his coat and he's now more energetic. I'll still be cautious and never increase this amount as i'm happy with the results so far. I've been giving him this about 4 times a week for about a month now. UPDATE: My 15 year old cat has been given this at the reduce rate for 6 weeks now and he's acting more and more like a youngster. His coat is now more thicker, softer, and much shinier. Really happy with this product.

Great value and quality product for dogs
Love this product and so do my two dogs which are both Queensland heelers. Very active dogs and we noticed within a couple of weeks their coats were shinier, nails stronger and they loved the taste. One of the dogs sometimes limps from heavy tennis ball playing but now not nearly as much as before this product. He also had chipped and brittle nails and we constantly had to have them trimmed, but now they are solid and strong from the vitamins in the product.

durable container, prepping item for dogs & cats (<--but will need sep taurine supplement)
Bought this as part of prepping. I have vitamins that I give my labs already, and I dont usually give vitamins to my cats, but I always keep a container of vitamin powder on hand that can be used for any of them in case the food situation is bad. I buy 1-2 containers per year, then resupply as needed. We were fine during the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, but the issues with products and transport has made an impact in the pet food availability, especially cat food. We've been making due, but it is just a reminder that things can go south real quick, and I want to make sure my babies have provisions. They have plenty of food, but if there comes a time when I have to put together people food scraps for them, I want to make sure they are getting their vitamins and minerals. This does NOT contain taurine, so if you are at all using this in the manner I am, then if you have cats you will want to make sure they have a taurine source. Very important. While I normally wouldn't bother opening this given the reason why I buy it, I have been considering replacing their current vitamin (very very pricy) with something more reasonable. So I opened this up, and sprinkled it on their food. So far so good.BTW, if you are reading reviews, I recommend sorting them by "most recent" as it appears that earlier reviews are down rating based on the inclusion of garlic. This page now offers both a supplement with garlic, and one without.

Gave my old lab new life
Love this, I used the Authority superfood powder for a while then they discontinued it and I started my 11 almost 12 year old lab on this. He loves it and it is really helping him. He so much more energetic and on his feet a lot more than he was. He is even buggin me to take him out by staring at me for hours on end again like he did when he was young. Highly recommend this. I just add this on top of his food with a doggy aspirin and some water each morning.

Easy source of added vitimins
I have a Silky Terrier who is a picky eater. I make her food and needed to make sure she is getting all the vitamins she needs. This looks good smells good and is easy to add to her food. I have not tasted it but she seems to like it.

Use With Caution
Unfortunately this was a waste of money in my case, as my dog had a bad reaction towards this.I’m not sure what it is, but this didn’t go well with my dog. At first she ate her serving, but then it went from that to, her eating half of her serving, to her just sniffing her bowl and walking away and not eating at all, but even worse she was throwing up as well here and there. This all happened over a week span. I was really puzzled at first because I put this on a homemade dog food that she loves. After playing detective, I finally stopped putting it in her food just to see what would happen (was trying a process of elimination) and the moment I didn’t put it in her bowl, she took a wiff of her food, and devoured it, licking the bowl clean and hasn’t thrown up since.Clearly it was this product, which is very strange to me, I’m not sure if this has to do with my dog, or if there are things in this product perhaps that just aren’t natural and rather harmful for the dog. Can’t say for certain but what I can say is use with caution.

Helpful product but poor shelf life
Helped my 18 yr old chihuahua. Opened the jar and it had a nice fresh smell to it. Only problem was that it went stale with a rancid smell. Only had it for about 4 weeks. Disappointed that I had to throw it out.

Add the vitamins and minerals to homemade dog food.
I recently started making my dog’s food. He is 10 years old and gass as been rejecting his kibbles lately. I tried buying canned food but found it was 80%+ water and he didn’t always like that, either. I found recipes on the Internet but was concerned that he might not be getting the right mix of vitamins and minerals from my concoction. He loves his new food and I sprinkle one teaspoon of this powder on his morning meal. He seems to like it just fine, gobble up his food. I’m thinking on going on the auto order system.
