These National Geographic maps are really good for finding your way around when hiking or backpacking.Sturdy and full of info on trails, roads, towns, mileage, elevations, and such. A very good map to have that covers lots of areas in the United States.

WE JUST MOVED TO THE MOUNTAINS AND MY HLUSBAND HAS PRACTICALLY MEMORIZED THIS MAP. IT'S PERFECT IF YOU'RE A HIKER OR HUNTER TO GET THROUGH THE MOUNTAINS AND KNOW WHERE THINGS ARE. WE ARE GOING TO GET ANOTHER COPY TO PUT UP ON OUR WALL. THANKS

Yep, it's a map of the area. Great product and describes the area. I would recommend it if you need a map of the area. If you need a map of another area though, this one might not really help you much. I have liked the maps from National Geographic and will buy more of them as needed.

Very nice sturdy map. Worked great wile hiking in the mountains for a couple of days.

I have several of these maps that I use for backpacking. The are very accurate and have lots of detail. Waterproof paper is a plus.

This is a great map with high detail that I us regularly. Don't go to North Georgia without it.

These maps represent the gold standard in printed wilderness maps for hiking. Water-resistant, accurate, includes all critical landmarks, and pleasing use of colors and shading.
