The Original Rummikub - Fast Moving Rummy Tile Game

I purchased this set and the Original Rummikub by pressman. This set has the thicker tiles rather than the thin ones. Both have plastic stands. The stands in this set have plastic legs that have to be attached. The other set has one piece plastic stands with thin tiles. Both have the same directions. So if you want one piece stands buy the blue box original set. If you want thicker tiles, but note the stands on the thicker have little legs that you have to attach buy the red box original set (this one). Both are made by pressman.

I bought this for my 12 year old grandson for Christmas because he has watched me play it on my phone. I have had so much fun watching him improve his basic math skills due to his competitive nature! His younger sister, (8 years old) now plays it with us, and the youngest (6 years old) is really trying to get fast enough in math to play, too. I highly recommend this fun, quick game.

This product does not have the original beige thick plastic indented tiles. It has flat gray thin plastic pieces, they're hard to pickup off the table. Game is in a cheap box and mailed to me in a slightly padded envelop and the box got crushed. There is a better game set out there for sure.

I looked around for a while before purchasing this set. Many I've found at local stores are just cheap and flimsy. I love that the tiles have some weight to them. It reminds me of my youth, playing Rummikub at Christmas with my extended family around Grandma's big dining table. The plastic stands do their job just fine, though wood would have been nice. I recommend this set.

This is NOT the original Rummikub! Very dissatisfied!

Love this game, but the tiles with the YELLOW numbers are all but IMPOSSIBLE to see. I have eye strain after a game or two. Why yellow Rummikub? Of all the colors you had to choose from... I’d buy a different game if I knew POSITIVELY there weren’t yellow numbers in it.

however, for this price there is no spin for numbers during the game, it's a big mistake.
