A great, but not perfect collection of early rock'n'roll hits.
Bought this album basically because I had Dion's song 'The Wanderer' stuck in my head because of the video game Fallout 4, that was the main reason, but I had a look at some of the other songs I was familiar with and wanted them in physical form - I don't really like digital music, it's just not for me.Anyways, there are 74 songs across 3 discs. A lot of them will be pretty familiar probably - a couple each of Elvis and Chuck Berry songs, the excellent instrumental 'Apache' instantly conjures up images of Clint Eastwood in cowboy uniform, riding a horse across the 'Ol' West' (I know 'Apache' refers to Native Americans!) others have been covered in the preceding years - 'La Bamba' - and others not so much. Discs 1 and 3 are noticeably stronger than two, which is a bit disappointing, and listening to all three albums end to end can be a bit of a slog - if, you somehow manage to find the time that is - but, I have found very collections that are joyous to listen to when driving a car, with an open window on a fine summer's day!The vast majority of the songs are great, if you can get over the sometimes overly dramatic melancholic lyrics that is typical of this era of music. Overall, a great but definitely not perfect collection of 50's rock'n'roll that ticks all the boxes. Some aficionados of the music would surely be able to debate no end which songs should or should not be here, and I feel even as a novice that some are missing, but it is a strong collection nonetheless.

Great CD
I bought this for the residents at the carehome I work in, they love it. It gets many of the residents on their feet - I also like rock and roll so it’s a win/win

Lets Rock
The first C.D of 25 songs is great but the other two I could take it or leave it, but its worth buying for the first C.D alone, it brought back many fantastic memories of my early teens.
