Coating Daddy Rubber Paint (450 ml, Orange and Red)

I was scared initially as this was my very first car DIY project but I never liked that chrome mustache on the back of my Creta. I saw a bunch of videos on youtube under the topic 'Plasti dip' and went on with my project so should you before starting yours. I recommend that you also watch videos on how to correctly use a spray can (pretty easy though). As it turned out, it had been a great experience for a rookie like me. The whole process with all the precaution I took gave a very clean result as you all can see. Here are some photos. Although after blowing a relatively small amount of money on DIY paint, I realize this one (Black, not matte black) will look good on alloys(all material types) and I would have to find a metallic one for that chrome mustache.The best thing is I did my project in one shot, no mess! This certainly compliments the user-friendliness of rubber paints.Some tips :#1 Try to use plastic sheets instead of tissues and newspapers (I know my setup was ugly and inefficient)#1.5 It is important that you leave an inch of a frame uncovered around your application area(see the photo embedded), so that you can grab and peel of the paint without hampering the desired applicant area.#2 Do at least 4 coats with a gap of 15 minutes amongst each.#3 Maintain a constant speed and distance between the nozzle and the object as you spray, do not change your angle midway.If you're still nervous, I would recommend you to try it on a small object before you go on with your main project.I will update this review after sometime to comment on its durability.Good luck!

UPDATE: The people from coating daddy have been quick to respond and have sent another can as replacement. Will use that and give a complete review, till then, 4 stars for swift action and a happy me.😊Old: The can i received was faulty, it started shooting droplets and leaked under the nozzle. Cant comment about the pain quality as i was able to use the paint much. Im giving it a star just for delivery, the product isn't the same colour as shown in the picture and its poor quality. I'd be happy if the manufacturer acknowledged the fault and sent a replacement or refund.

I used it for my i20 mag wheelsFinishing has come nice,But i have little fear of durability of color, as it is peelable.Heat up little bit before using to get smooth finishI was waiting for this rubber dip product in India from long time, finally got it.It is a good product for people who try to customize their vehicles themselves.

I bought this after a long research and reviews , am writing an honest review ,it is upto you whtr or not you want to buy..this is a matt black rubber paint ..meaning that if you are applying to somehting shiny will turn to a matt black color,,the setback for me was it pealed off , i coated my car rubber beading and some plastic parts and if u want to trust me it just fell off by tapping ( by my thumb) i used a cloth ensuring yo kinda of clean it after a few days of application but it kept peeling off...i dont think it is water resistant ... it turned out to b a very bad product for me ..if u still want to order go ahead

Good for first use only..after one month's the paint as like an water...

just a useless product. totally watse of money and also spoiled my helmet. and all the 5 star reviews are by coating daddy only, you can check thier videos and the photos they provide here.

you will probably need 1 can per rim of your car i ordered 2 cans for 4 14" rims and was not enough the color didnt catch on the rims very well

Gud product need 2 more cans but not available now ....
