Make your own mind up ....
So ..... read the reviews, and purchased with some apprehension as the overall conclusion was that their great sound quality came with connectivity problems. Being someone who does a lot of research, including other peoples opinions, I received them expecting the same, but wanting them to be wrong. The outcome? ... really pleased..Set them up, and played music from my phone. Great sound, very comfortable, but with some drop out, but not significant. Went for a walk today, and same again - great sound, some dropout. Sat down this afternoon, and played with some of the bluetooth settings on my phone (Galaxy Note 9). Found one that toggles Dual Audio - allows bluetooth streaming to two devices. Toggles it over and noticed an immediate difference Been perfect since. Sound is really good. Only had them a day or so, so early days but will update this review should things change.Update 15th January. Ok, so took them on a walk yesterday and experienced constant audio loss on left earbud, most notably on turning my head I.e. to check for traffic on the road. Contacted RHA who asked me a number of questions and provide evidence of purchase. They gave me a couple of things to try, which involved resetting the earbuds, and then ensuring that I removed the buds from their charging box in the correct sequence. Right first, then left. Although it sounds stupid, I struggled with this as when I open my box (with LED lights and logo) on top, the right bud is on the left of the box, and the left on the right of the box. I needed to take a moment to remember this. Anyway, struggle over, used them today and all seems ok agai. No problem. They really are a great set of buds and really comfortable. I like the ability to control the audio with a press of the button on each earbud, but do not like that they are fiddly to remove from the box. You invariably end up pressing the button on removal. Still happy with them

Great Sound, comfort, fit and isolation. Acceptable lip sync, connectivity and headset
The good - they sound great. Well balanced sound, with just the right amount of bass omph (for me at least). Clarity is good. Have enjoyed listening to a variety of audio from Jazz to ambient, Techno to hip-hop, as well as audio books on audible. The comfort is good (for me with the large Comply tips included). The isolation is really good. Not up to my Etymotics, but nothing is, and these are way more comfortable. The sound isolation is very good. I happily use these on flights or in gym, without any issue. The fit is secure and brisk walking/gentle running is no issue. Battery life seems good, no issues. The Acceptable - The connectivity is ok. Sometimes a problem connecting on initial use and I need to reconnect. If I am walking with the phone in my pocket needs to be in right pocket, not left, otherwise there are fairly frequent drop outs. Certainly significantly worse than my airpods were. The lip sync is ok, but not perfect. It is noticeable but not enough to prevent using for video watching. Its an annoyance rather than a showstopper. When used as a headset they are ok, but for me the isolation is an issue. It needs a mode to feed a little real world noise in, so your voice sounds more natural. All in all very good. A firmware update with improved connectivity, lip sync and headset functions would get them to 5 stars-----Update 8/3/19 - Tempted to remove a 1/2 star, if I could. Connectivity in a busy built up area (Tokyo) has been an issue with rather more frequent drop outs than I would like. I'll leave at 4 now, but may update again, if more dropouts occurring.------Update 22/3/19I will give the customer service 5* They sent me a replacement pair to see if they could fix the connectivity/drop out issues. The new pair seem to have improved things (limited testing so far), with dropouts at a level similar to my airpods before. But I'm super impressed with customer service.

Excellent sound let down by ongoing connection issues.
The RHA True connect were (and still are) my first pair of true wireless headphones. Having had them for well over a year (for my sins), I thought I would finally get round to writing an in-depth review to help others make decisions in this crowded market. If you can't be bothered reading this epic review here's a spoiler. Don't bother buying these get something else! What drew me to the RHA True Connect? First of all, I wanted a pair of headphones that I could use for the gym (once a year), commuting (to my sofa- furlough life), and had an in-ear design with earbud tips (i like to feel the soundwaves assault my brain). These had it all! Multiple tips to fit any ear (Yes even Martin Clunes or those of you looking like the European Cup), an IPX5 rating (a fancy way to say sweat proof), and some glowing reviews from numerous tech websites (Judas), I took the plunge- at the big sum of £140 at the time.So why then only 2 stars? (I'd give 2.5 if I could)The Good; The sound quality is a belter. Big bass, but not overpowering like a pair of D-R-E Beats circa 2012. A Well balanced middle and a clear, concise upper range, these headphones are adaptable to most types of music, whether it be dance (i like to stick a donk on it), ambient, rock (more cowbell), pop, or metal. I often listen to podcasts (big up Perter Crouch- Pass The Pod) and the clarity is great. As someone partial to a bit of Debussy and a cry for classical music or songs with rich arrangements the instruments can get a bit muddled. For most listeners though sound quality is boss. The general feel of the product. Everyone loves soft-touch plastic and this has plenty. Like a VW dashboard. The battery life for me has been great. I know loads of headphones have surpassed its rating of 5 hours, but if these run out of battery during a marathon you aren't running quick enough.Everyone loves a good box & unboxing (cheeky) and I can confirm this is a great box. Inside you get all the accessories you need, this isn't apple. It even comes with a lovely steel card that holds all the different ear tips and accessories. Like something, you'd get in a John Lewis Christmas cracker.Fit is great for my ears, the medium-sized foam tips are perfect and create a great seal (solitary brother!) and I've never found them uncomfortable. Unless like my girlfriend you have an ear canal shaped like the maze at Hampton Court Palace- ( year 5 school trip), I think you'll be sound. No lag or sync issues when watching videos on Netflix... sorry, Amazon Prime Video. The Bad;Connection Issues. Like other, more experienced reviewers have mentioned, and who I should have listened to in the first place, the biggest single issue with these headphones is the connection problems. At first, I had the odd dropping out of sound (very rare) between the right and the left earphone. No biggie I thought. Then they developed the annoying problem of each earbud falling to pair with each other. That's ok I'll get in touch with RHA. I contacted RHA who advised me on how to re-set the headphones and pair the earbuds again. Perfect no more stress. Wrong! The problem just comes from time to time. Usually when you least want it too. But let me set the scene, you haven't been for a run in weeks since the novelty of lockdown wore off, you are now a fat mess (thanks, Boris) but you have plucked up the courage to lace them trainers again. You get to the door, get the headphones out the case and they pair with your phone. You put on the eye of the tiger and disaster, sound out of only one ear (it changes between L or R to keep me on my toes). I then spend the next 5min or so putting them back in the case, taking them out again to repair, searching for the RHA manual to re-set the things. And by that time you are now sat down with a beer and share bag of Doritos. So yeah, connection not great and is making me fat (er). But that isn't all. As well as the problem above, the headphones also don't like to play nicely with certain devices. My iPhone XR and Garmin watch seem to work perfectly all the time (apart from the odd issue above) which annoyingly is why I haven't got rid of them yet. However, the connection with my new Samsung TV is so bad I'd rather listen to a dial-up modem. I have checked the connection with an old pair of Bluetooth headphones and they work perfectly with Bluetooth -3 or whatever it was back then. All I want to do is watch the real housewives of Cheshire( Did I mention I was furloughed? Don't judge I've got nothing left to watch) in peace. In conclusion, if it wasn't already clear I can't recommend these headphones. The sound quality, in general, is fantastic and for around £90 now you would be hard-pressed to get better. However, unless those connection issues have been sorted spend your money elsewhere.

RHA sound in wireless format
I usually don't like to listen music thru wireless headphones. Nowadays everything is wireless and numerous conference calls everyday made me reconsider my old thought... I want to try a wireless headset, not too expensive, but practical/functional - and of course, satisfying sound quality. After long search, I found RHA Trueconnect (old version) at very attractive price. I already have a wired earphones from RHA (CL750), and love its sound. So I give it a try for my new adventure - wireless sound world.Setting: it is so easy and simple. Once you set up, it will be automatically connected thanks to quick pairing. Only drawback is one quick pairing at a time - I need to unpair one device and pair other manually, not thru quick pairing. I could not find a manual explaining how to pair and switch multiple devices.Sound (and Fit): no complaints here. It has very balanced sound - not to tilted towards low or high, which I really like. Provided Comply Foam Tips are awesome (CL750 also provided these) - good fit/sound isolation/comfortable. Call quality is also good - clean and crisp. However, definitely mic quality from wired headset would be more crisp (bluetooth mic with noise cancelling feature has very distinctive sound - kind of echoey (is this actually a word??).Connection: relatively acceptable - good coverage (placing my phone in one room, and able to work around other rooms). Some unstable connection at certain spots of our house and yard - probably too many wireless devices sending a ping. Strangely, there was some disconnection when I laid down for ground workout, nothing major, but more unstable bluetooth connection...For work-from-home applications, it worked well - connection-wise and sound quality-wise. There is one thing I could not figure out yet - during the video conference calls (zoom/skype/team), only right earbud is active: it seems I have a mono hand's free device in my right ear. After each call, I checked both earbuds whether they were working, and both worked well playing music in stereo. I was unable to find instructions how to make stereo during conference call. If anyone has any idea, please share tips.Battery Life: once fully charged (both earbuds and case), I was able to use a week (3-4 hours a day) w/o charge. It is good enough for me.Bottomline: it has RHA sound (very balanced), comfortable tips, and noise-canceling feature. Most of all, price was right for me to choose RHA Trueconnect over other fantastic true wireless earbuds. If you are looking for a TWE at price range of $30-40 and want to use it for various things (not just listening music, but conference calling), this would be a good choice...

Premium Earbuds
Let's cut to the chase: do I recommend the RHA TrueConnects? Yes, absolutely. They're a great set of truly wireless headphones. The TrueConnects are comfortable. Included is a whole range of both silicone and comply memory foam earbud tips nearly organized on a metal holder. It's easy to pick out the most comfortable tips, replace a lost set, or even share a set with someone... You know, so you don't have to share their gross earwax.Anyways, sound quality is good. Better than airpods in my opinion. The bass is there, and it's very well balanced. The rest of the range is good. Very, very slight video lag. You really have to look for it though, and I don't notice it in everyday scenarios. I mean, they're wireless earbuds with a Bluetooth connection. They obviously will never be as good as wired over the ear headphones. But, they're excellent for normal everyday use. Seriously. In terms of everyday functionality, they're good too. The matte black look is slick, the microphones sound very good, similar to if you had the phone to your ear. The passive noise cancellation is excellent. To the point of you won't be able to hear the station stop calls on a train even with the music on low. Battery life is good, should last you all day with the charges in the case. The earbuds themselves charge very quick too.
