First day putting them on and almost instantaneously became attached to car forever. Could not play with it because it’s adhesive was so strong.

Picked this up to replace side molding on a car. Looks good, but the plastic covering to keep the carbon fiber rubber stuff will not come off. Its crickled and looks really bad. I spent 3 hours picking piece by piece, and didn't even get 4 inches and could no longer stand trying to get protective film off. It sticks very well, easy to install, and good thickness, but that protective film makes it not worth buying.

Hey guys!!! Back again I hope my comment helps. Would I rate this a must have no! But is it workable yes! It was a lot thicker than I expected, I had to use a knife to cut it, it was that thick! Installing was easy, I just measure & cut. I rubbed the adhesive prep on the area & stick. Easy peasy! It was really sticky too surprisingly I never had any issues there. So if ur having doubts just get it & the carbon fiber looks so cool. Bye fa now 😃

Durable and easy to cut to any size where ever needed. The adhesive side started coming off after a few months though

The door sill guard is beautiful straight out of the package! The silver sides are flashy. However, I think the way it was rolled caused some parts of the strip to wrinkle after application (see pictures). It was hard to try and smooth out the wrinkles (and believe me I have tried numerous times). So I just left it as is.As for the 3m tape, it held strong. When I tried to remove the guard strip To re-align, it was Stuck. Great adhesion!I think the only problem I had was that the silver lining on the strip had an obvious wrinkling that I couldn’t remove, which really diminished its look! So I knocked down 2 stars overall for this.Other than that, it’s a great product! I would probably recommend the plain black one though as it would be harder to spot the wrinkles that are obvious on the silver guard.I hope it stays on longer too!

Don’t know why others don’t like. I cleaned the area well first with alcohol three times using cotton swabs.Then I wiped dry and cut piece to size. The square patch they give you is not for cleaning but for activating the glue hence the weird smell. I wiped it on and left it while I peeled the red tape off back and then stuck it down. It bonded almost immediately and is now stuck fast. Looks great did one car with red line and the other with black and grey.Highly recommend this product, price good too. Easy to use. REMEMBER YOU MUST CLEAN WELL FIRST. Protects the inner sill very well.

The thickness was great and adhesion very good. I had to cut and alter this several times to get it to look right on my bumper. I am not happy with the wrinkles and delamination appearance of the product. It does not want to lay flat and has these nasty wrinkles in it. Even after I realized there was a thin protective plastic over it, it still gives us appearance even after removing it. I will find a way to remove it totally.This would be a great product for something else but not a car bumper.

I had no issue using this to protect my new BMW X5's door thresholds. There was plenty of product to cover all four doors, with some left over. The adhesion seems strong and the tape is nice and thick, just as described.
