works, but...now dead still dead, run around on support
works on my 2017 macbook with original power supply for external USB keyboard/mouse and HDMI. however the small polarized 6" cable to hook to laptop is way too short, and a normal USB C cable will not fit due to the notch. I am looking into 6ft extension cable to see if I can get it to work. if it does, great, if not, major pain. as placement of laptop and dock is extremely restricted.Update 3/5: USB still not working. delayed back and forth with support (YES its hooked up correct). I just want something to work, PLEASE REFUND OR SEND A WORKING REPLACEMENT RIGHT AWAY!update- usb3.0 ports and ethernet have stopped working no power it seems. need help

Look for another dock
Works well to add a monitor and will charge the battery but barely. Anything more will not wok consistently. For example, the fob for wireless keyboard and mouse is jumpy, I have to plug those into a separate port for smooth operation. So it does work for my monitor and a power source, but not other peripherals.

It's Junk. DON'T ORDER!
This item does not work as stated. After attaching to my computer using the USB-C plug included, charging is inconsistent, network connection only works about a third of the time, and most importantly, monitors do not connect at least 75% of the time. I did not make it under the cutoff for returns so I am out $60. Don't make the same mistake, look at other docking stations!

Does not work as advertised with MacBook Pro 2018
Despite the description, this does not appear to fully work with MacBook Pro. The Ethernet, HDMI, and VGA ports work, but none of the USB ports work when plugged in. But the other ports (ethernet, HDMI, VGA) do work. Could be defective, but doubt it. MacOS also complained about UBS device not getting enough power for device even with only one USB device plugged in.

Poor quality
Unfortunately, this item is poorly constructed. One of the usb ports didn't sit correctly in its housing unit rendering it useless. I had to return it.
