Endless hours of fun with the kids
This is the first 3D pen in our household and to my understanding it is like the hot glue gun where you melt the glue/plastic and then reform it with your design. Zoe my daughter picked the Nulaxy brand as it looks cute, like the robot in the cartoon movie. The eyes of the robot is the status indicator, when switch on or button pressed it will speak to you in a robot voice. it comes with a wall USB adapter but we opted to use a regular phone power bank as we want to work on our table without attaching wires to the wall socket.Zoe have not problem reading and understanding the instruction booklet, all I need to do is there to supervise. The melted plastic can be hot so I would not allow them to play on their own. I expected a lot of bad fumes from the melted plastic but overall we only can smell it at the beginning when we first feed it plastic, make sure you do it in a well ventilated room and it should be ok.We managed to print the bicycle and glasses with the template straight out of the box, now we have to buy more filament as both of my kids take turns to make stuff

Keeps the kids quiet for a few hours.
My 11yr old daughter wanted one of these as her pals have something similar to this. She found the pen fun to use as the robot has eyes which is the status of the pen.Plugged in to the USB socket and off she went. Just a safety thing i did tell het the end would get realy hot and Not to touch it.It came with a few templates which were fun as she got started and made a 3d bike :).The only thing was the plastic was in a bit of a muddle buta few minutes and was sorted into there colors. You need to practice with this for a while to get good results as she tried to make a 3d box but couldnt go straight up the way, but in the end she made some sort of box like item.Nice n fun to play with and would recommend it but please supervise as can get hot at the end. Thanks for the fun.

Great 3D pen
The instructions are limited and not translated well, but after a few you tube videos we got the hang of it. We couldn't find the recommended user video. Also open and register for the warranty ASAP as you only have 7 days, we bought this as a gift abd opened it much later abd cannot register now. I've tried emailing the email from the warranty page but it sends back an error...Will keep trying. It has to remained plugged into the power tp use and the cable isn't very long but we manage. My 7 year loves it, it takes a bit of practice and you need to use it like a pen not hovering it in the air, to get the best outcome. We bought extra filaments on special offer on amazon, make sure you get the right type. All in a nice bit of kit for the price £9.99

Fun and innovative!! Try it for yourself
I bought this item out of curiosity, it looks futuristic and the item description intregued me.I have been using the product and I am very impressed, I have just printed a 3D bicycle (in miniature form obviously). There are templates inside to get you started with ideas of what to draw & the pen also has voice prompts to guide you while using it.I have just done a demonstration for a friend, who is now going to buy one for themself!!I am also going to be purchasing another as a Christmas gift, a great present for somebody into arts and crafts! The only downside of the pen is the filaments are hard to untangle, but it only took a few minutes.I am really impressed!! THANK YOU!!!

My daughter loves it!!
This was purchased in order for my mother in law to pass it onto my daughter as a birthday present and so far it’s keeping her occupied and very creative.I was watching my wife helping her use it when we’ve had crafts day in our house which we have a couple of times a week.It reminds me of my glue gun I have in the garage, you feed the material through the pen and make your design and allow to cool down, then voila!!! Pick it of the work surface and you have your 3d picture, or in my daughters case she made squares and assembled into a cube, which she has made for her project at school about different shapes. The pen speaks to you in a robotic voice and needs to warm up, so ensure your child is supervised by mum/dad or teacher!!I have spoken to my daughters teacher and she is going to propose that the school purchases some 3d pens for the arts and crafts room because it adds a completely different approach to testing the children’s creative skills!!

Kids will like it
It's ok and would recommend this for kids, not sure what they can actually make with it, but both our kids seem to like it a lot making stuff, good for their imagination I suppose, had a go myself trying to make something a little more 3d but not very stable once you start building it up , it just seems to flop over, had to make flat sides then join together, so more for fun kids play than useful making stuff.

Don't waste your money!
Awful product! Filament does not load, lights flash constantly and does not heat up. I bought this back in September for a Christmas present and now can’t return as the refund window has ‘closed’. Warranty also states you must register the product within 3 days of receiving it, but you can’t find that out until you open up the box.
