Frigidaire 154827601 Tub Gasket

Bought this and new corner door tabs to fix my office dishwasher leak. No more leak! The only problem is that that this fits so tight that it is difficult to get the dishwasher door to latch. Have to use two hands and hold the top of the counter to "force" the door closed. It feels like this seal might be a bit thicker than the original. Since it fixed the leak problem, I will just deal with the overtight fitment.

Fits my Electrolux/Frigidaire dishwasher (Model: FFBD2408NM0A). See attached photo...Pretty much just pull out the old seal. Mine was turning black, getting gummy, and leaving black marks on dishwasher door. The dishwasher is 5 years old. Clean out any grime before replacing with new seal.To install, look for a dot on the new seal. Align that dot in the middle at the top near the latch. Work the seal down each side. They say you can leave the excess seal material folded over on each bottom corner, but I trimmed mine back using a scissors. It looks great.I also changed out the dishwasher Door Seal strip, located at the bottom of the door inside. It was leaking and the thin rubber flap was torn and folded over on mine. Look for a youtube video on changing that one out. It's easy to do. Frigidaire 809006501  Frigidaire 809006501 Dishwasher Door Seal The last thing I did was change out the two little flaps located on the bottom of each side where the gasket ends. They get torn from the lower basket being pulled out and in. You just pop them behind the seal at the bottom. I fixed my Frigidaire dishwasher that was leaking because of old gasket. Fit was just like original gasket and took me about 15 minutes to change door gasket out. I would buy this again and would recommend it to solve a leaking door problem. Price was reasonable in my opinion.

Neither the tub door gasket nor the door bottom seal was the leaking problem. Next is the Sump Housing Gasket. I had asked my Father in law to not run the dishwasher unless I was there to observe from where the leak was coming. But he chose to run it while I wasn't there. Of course the leak is from under the middle of the dishwasher. This should be resolved by replacing the Sump Housing Gasket which is the next job!

Product looks good and fit my door to perfect size. The product length is 73inch and not 94inch. My frigidaire dishwasher ran with no water leak too. Hope the product would be durable.

Easy to install. There’s a pink dot on the back so you know which way it goes.Don’t push it in too far, there’s a lip that should be out against the plastic.

I bought it a month ago and the door steel needs pressure to close.

Fits my Frigidaire dishwasher. I had to cut a little bit at one end and stretch it out, otherwise it would be to thick and prevent me from closing my dishwasher's door.
