MicroBypass ALL AVH-X Video In Motion Interface for Select Pioneer Receivers

Contacted the seller after it didnt seem to work. He said its my fault for not reading the product description and did not offer any help to get it working. Boo to him for that.For an AVH-W4400NEX, you need to upgrade to 1.01 firmware, ground the green parking brake wire, and press and hold 1 inch from the bottom and 1 inch from the left until "Set on" appears on the screen (10-15 sec). Bypass done.It DOES work for the 1.00 firmware. You need to keep the GPS antenna out of the head unit, and you will get warning messages because of that on the screen. If you plug the antenna in, the video in motion will stop working as soon as you start moving (no parking brake - it will work while stopped).I kept mine in for potential futureproofing and because im too lazy to rip apart the dash and undo my fabric-wrapped harness to save the money I'd get back returning this. If I were you and I had an AVH-4400NEX, I''d upgrade the firmware and save cash.

I initially thought I wouldn't need this item because I have no intention of watching videos while driving, but quickly realized that I was also locked out of basic menu features without it, such as setting up bluetooth and using the Pioneer built-in Spotify app. This was super easy to install and worked flawlessly on my Pioneer MVH-1400NEX. Just 3 wires to connect to the back of the head unit, with matching colors and easy to follow instructions.

Great Product. On a AVH-2440NEX followed the instructions carefully. Soldered on the blue wire into the Metra power blue wire (blue and white) and the black wire to the black Metra wire. Cut the light green wire to the same length as the blue and black and soldered the green with the light green. I thought I messed it up but the company has tremendous customer service and told me what to check. I put a DVD in and it ran perfectly. Good people. Don’t you love it when you think you failed but you didn’t? Thanks Matt.

As Lego Batman would say "first try." I got the new Pioneer 2017 2330NEX and for some reason my vehicle would not work through the standard on-off-on. This product solved that problem immediately. Great product, no issues, easy instructions. Definitely would recommend it!!

Wow! I know it’s pricey compared to a toggle switch.... it it’s oh so slick and clean!!! Installed on a 2003 Suburban and a Pioneer AVH-1330-NEX. Super simple....directions included! Honestly....it would have been harder to install the Pioneer if I had to find the green reverse wire under the dash. And if this head unit does not get a signal, either by this micro bypass or reverse wire, some of the key features will not be selectable.Absolutely worth the $15 I spent. Get this baby!

Just soldered this into the wiring harness over the weekend on my Pioneer AVH-2440NEX, and it works perfectly! DVD play in Drive works like a charm.THANK YOU for making this product!

This is a simple install to bypass the emergency brake interlock on a Pioneer radio. It has only three wires to hook up, black to ground (also black), green to the emergency brake wire on the unit (light green), and the blue to the system remote control wire (blue/white), (not to the solid blue power antenna wire if present on the radio). This will enable all menu items to be accessible without having to apply the emergency brake, as well as the video screen will also be accessible.

My pioneer radio was not allowing me to clear out my bluetooth memory as the bluetooth menu was greyed out. I purchased this, went in to install it, and it now works perfectly. If you need help installing, it is pretty simple. Start with the Black Ground wire, as you know that one will be grounded to the car. I twisted mine together with the black wire on the pioneer wire harness. For the green wire, this needs to be connected to the long light green wire which says parking brake. The last blue wire needs to be connected to the blue wire with the white stripe. This wire is located on the pioneer harness. None of the wires needed to be connected to the car harness, only the pioneer harness. It works and it was ezpz. It took a little time, but now that I know what to do, it could have probably been done in about 30 minutes! Watch a few youtube tutorials! ezpz
