Darwin Stain Resistant Nano-Material Artist Watercolor Paint Mixing Flower Palette, Modern White 8 Inch Diameter, 6 Petal Shaped Wells

I was prepared to hate this "plastic" pallet. I actually love it. It is lightweight, bright white, smooth, well designed and as advertised. I included a picture to show that the wells are slanted (nice) and that the puddles spread our and stay where put. The paint does not bead up! I forgot to include a brush on top but it doesn't roll off because of the slant on the wells. I'm not easily impressed but this one got a review out of me, which is rare.

I've had this now for about 8 months and while it resisted staining in the beginning, it will stain and I've tried cleaning it with soap and a sponge. It works really well and I like that it's a lightweight alternative to porcelain/ceramic and sturdier than flimsy plastic. So it's easy to throw in the sink and not worry about it getting damaged from other dishes before I have time to clean it or throw it in my bag without worrying it will break and it's heavy enough not to worry about it flying away when I travel (although my paints that have metal mixing lids are preferred), but light enough that packing extra art supplies doesn't feel like extra weight.

I find this palette to be the perfect size and design for me. Just enough separation between sections, big enough but not too big. It’s smooth and easy to clean. No staining for me so far. I put two colors in each section and use the middle either for mixing or more colors as needed. I bought it for travel to cabin and RV but I’m using it at home too because its user friendly.

My 8" porcelain palette weighs 1.8lbs. It has 8 "petals" and a small central mixing area. This new 8" palette has 6 double petal area around a larger center and weighs .6.52 lbs. What I dislike about plastic palettes is the way paint beads up and won't leave the brush top Paint wicks to this palette as well as it does to ceramics. As for staining, I tested it with Winsor (thalo) Green B/S, the most staining pigment I know, and it wiped away with a damp paper towel, no problem. Great palette!

Great size! Wells are large enough to make a good amount of paint to cover a letter size paper fully. The slight slant helps my brushes. Super white and light!

This palette is fine for mixing paint: each section is deep and capacious. However I wish I had gotten one with more sections

This is a decent mixing palette wish it had more weight to it im afraid im going to drag it with my brush off my desk and well it seems like it would chip easily it was also dusty and had weird coloring fresh from box had a scent of an old dish someone would put into back of a closet its cute and nice size tho

These seem to stain pretty easily, but they’re still pretty & functional
