I bought this to use with a mobile disco, where it is sometimes necessary to route cables across the floor. I haven't had chance to use it yet due to lock-down, but it appears to be of a high quality and it has a good capacity. It certainly beats using fluorescent gaffer tap, which makes your cables sticky, gross! The entry in the back makes it easy to encapsulate one or more cables that have already been routed and eliminates a possible trip hazard as it is shaped like a ramp and has a bright yellow strip to aid visibility. It also comes supplied with an adaptor allowing you to join multiple pieces together. It's very sturdy and should give good service, I look forward to using it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Product arrived on time. Well packaged. The cover is coiled but not tightly. It is held together with a strong zip tie that was removable to add to my collection without cutting. The cover does stand up slightly from being rolled but it does not curl back up and the paperwork included gives instruct on how to make it pliable in hot water if required.It feels sturdy and heavy enough for outdoor use as planned and the high visibility strip is clear and doesn’t appear to be easily worn off.Good product which will fit exactly what I planned to cover an outdoor extension cable on a patio walkway.Overall pleased and recommend. The lost star on ease of use is for having to straighten it out but packaging is far easier that way than in a long tube or box.****update in 2022. Still excellent condition. Used outside and has flattened nicely after couple weeks. No issues and lasting well****

The only thing I didn't like was the ends have not flattened yet despite being persuaded by gentle heat so that it may lay flat. This has been caused by it Bing so tightly coiled for transport. I have now coiled it inside out to try and get the final kink out... Otherwise this will cause a trip Hazzard, which is ironic as it's meant to prevent just this..

The floor cable cover arrived as promised, on time and securely packaged.Product is as specified and is already in use.The cable cover has replaced an older 'cable safety mat' that was turning up at the edges and becoming a trip hazard in itself.The Stageek cable cover is heavier than expected but is far neater than the cable mat it has replaced and I cannot foresee it turning up at the edges. The bright yellow hazard stripe means that it is readily visible and I have no concerns about people stepping on it as it is so robust.We use this in a small hall situation where there is only a small unguarded cable run, the cover is easy to take up and put down and then stored away after an event. I imagine in a larger hall that the cable cover, given its weight, might be a semi-permanent feature.Great product, great service. Highly recommended.

I think this is a quality of plastic issue but it has taken weeks to get the cable protector to lye flat! Had to anchor with concrete blocks for the first week in use. It’s also a little short for the pavement outside our house which is a challenge because I’m use it for EV charging.

needed a large rubber-type floor cable protector to carry power cable and tv aerial fly-lead across a bedroom floor to a moveable tv stand on wheels positioned at the foot of the bed in a care home. position of wall-mounted sockets made conventional tv placement impractical, this was a very elegant solution and the protector removed the trip hazard. there was hardly any kink when laid on the floor. a very useful purchase.

Great product. Perfect solution for pavement parking

Pretty good value. It's fairly compact and not too tall, which probably makes it less likely to be tripped over. The slot is just big enough to fit an ev cable in but you would have to check yours.It comes rolled up which is compact but a pain as it needs to be heated to straighten it out. Instructions suggest hot water but I used a heat gun. Easy to cut to length with a hacksaw.
