Wonderfully made hat. I wanted something that wasn't too bulky. Alot of skull caps/beanies seem kinda bulky. Too much fabric. This fits like it was tailored. I went a lil small and there's no stretch so definitely order the correct size. Nice wool too. Not itchy and has a classy look. Very stylish and functional. Not too warm either. I wore it inside for a couple hours and no sweat or discomfort. Wool breaths so it makes sense. I plan to wear it to work were its on average 70 degrees. Should be fine.

If you are on the fence between sizes go larger. I ordered the 63cm but I could see the look and ride of the hat would be better if I got the 64cm and so sent the first back. It's amazing how much 1cm affects the look and fit. Go 1cm larger than normal and put in hat foam to make it fit if needed. The look of a hat is always better if it's diameter rises vertically from the front and back of the cranium, rather than have the look of being forced down to fit.You'll feel like a longshoreman in some early fifties film noir like On the Waterfront. I got a peacoat to go with it.

I have been looking for this beanie for years! Made with real wool and keeps my bald head warm! Great quality and great fit.

High quality and well-made docker cap. Only drawback is that it shrank when worn during a rainstorm. Best to keep this one dry.

I wanted a medium weight, above-the-ear beanie / docker cap. Not many options in a fitted, wool cap of this type. There are some more expensive options (Stetson, Kangol); cheap, Chinese no-name options; many are "fashionable", but not classic and stylish; and most are synthetic blends of the pull-down type, which one pulls down and then folds back up to keep the cap above the ears. The latter typically have some stretch in them, and as a result don't stay in place very well. (On my noggin, they tend to creep up and back, towards the pointiest part of my head.)Enter the Sterkowski Wool Beanie Docker cap. The wool isn't stretchy, so it doesn't pull itself out of position. It fits great due to Sterkowski offering fitted hat sizes, not generic small / medium / large. The design is classic and stylish. This hat is well made and the fit is good. I like that it keeps your head warm without a lot of extra material.

I thought it would not happen to me twice. But it did. I received the wrong sizes. I'm starting a collection of beautiful hats that will not fit in my head.
