I purchased this dehumidifier to replace a 7Ldecasent dehumidifier that lives in my cellar. The 7L dehumidifier works great at extracting moisture, well below 50% within a few hours on full speed. However, it is heating up the cellar.This dehumidifier is useless. I have had it on for over 24 hours. It has run continuously on maximum fan and drain. The pictures show the readings at the time of this review. I started with 60% humidity, 24 hours later I am down to 52 or 54%. VERY VERY POOR PERFORMANCE.The sticker on the machine shows that 20L extraction occurs at 30*C at 80% humidity. So not really fit for my needs.

We bought this to help with condensation, damp and black mould in our 170-year-old cottage. Was unsure how effective it would be but since we received it, it's been running 24/7 for about 3 weeks with absolutely no issues. Every 24 Hrs it removes between about 1-5 litres of water depending on if it's been raining and how wet the dogs have got! The handy LCD screen on top tells you the humidity, and its light enough to move around the house as each area needs extra attention, but have started to just leave it on the landing and just keeps the damp down throughout the house. If you register with the company you get an extended warranty, so just hope its got the longevity to last a few winters.

Waited a while before reviewing, this is a fantastic dehumidifier it's little compact quiet and does a brilliant job. I have it on the landing of my stairs where I used to get a water pool and mould due to a constantly weather battered outside wall. It sucks a lot of water for its size so for me needs emptying quite often. So far I haven't seen any mould spores appearing where they used to be so i am impressed! Thinking of getting another for my wardrobes.

This is used in our small spare room for when it's too cold or wet outside to hang the washing. The amount of water it collects is incredible and puts me at ease that it's doing its job! There is a noise when it operates but as it's in the spare room it doesn't affect me. I wouldn't say it's very noisy but if it was in my bedroom or living room I would probably moan about it. Very good for the price, wasn't expecting much but it proved me wrong.

Unit runs continuously, regardless of any humidity setting. Manufacture agreed it was faulty.Replacement did exactly the same.AVOID.

I was looking for a small dehumidifier as my porch has a problem with damp/condensation in the colder months even after fitting draught proofing. I originally had modest expectations for this small dehumidifier considering the price but I have been pleasantly surprised by its performance. The walls and windows are no longer covered in condensation, the coats no longer feel cold and damp and with its low power draw I am happy to keep it running 24/7 this winter.

I've bought two of these now. I used one to prevent mold in a basement in a Spanish villa during winter, using the timer feature, and after a few months we returned; it was still working and no mold! So we bought another for a house in the UK.

Not really impressed, doesn’t do a lot really, easier to use gel ones to put in small places. Useful for the odd time it’s needed but I rather think it won’t see the light of day again. Another novelty I think
