Sooooo good. I'm hooked!
I had been buying Katsuo Fumi Furikake pretty consistently over the last three or four years cause its the only flavor I knew existed. When I saw they make all these other flavors I was blown away. Most of them are really good. No one seems to have done a breakdown of the flavors so I will do my best, I'm no expert but I have essentially been binging on these the last few days.Katsuo - This is essentially the base ingredients for all the other flavors except Shiso. Bonito flakes, seaweed, sesame seeds. If you don't like this flavor, chances are you won't like the rest, so if you are new to Furikake, start with this one by istelf first.Salmon - Dried salmon bits which taste similar to roasted salmon skin. Pretty nice flavor, not too fishy. A more complex and delicate flavor over the Ebi.Ebi Fumi - Shrimp flavor. Kinda reminds me of shrimp ramen. Pretty good by itself on rice, the salmon has better taste as far as the fish flavors. If you like Japanese fish snack, this one is similar in taste.Seto - Potato and soy sauce flavor. A bit like a sweet potato.Moritamago - sweet egg flavor. similar to tamago(ommelete) sushi. I made fried eggs over toast this morning and put this on. It was great.Wasabi Fumi - Wasabi(japanese horseradish) flavor. Not too spicy. If you love sushi, this over rice with some soy sauce sprinkled is perfect. Also used this as a seasoning on salmon I broiled last night. The spice dries out quick if cooked in an oven, so mixing with butter and lemon juice ahead of time maintains its moisture throughout cooking.Nori Fumi - Extra seaweed. Very distinct seaweed flavor, if you like sushi hand rolls this is a good choice. I put it on a salad and it went nicely.Shiso - This is the only one i truly did not like. It contains dried beefsteak plant which tasted very potent, bitter and salty. Prehaps I didn't use it properly or contrast it enough with the right type of food, but it kind of reminded me of a non edible potpourri. I will keep experimenting, but I expect this one to stay in the back of my cabinet untouched.

Great deal and nice variety in case you want to try all the flavors
These are a wonderful way to transform a boring dish into something better. I love every one of these flavors but some of my family thinks there are too many flavors with too strong of a fish taste (of course it's supposed to have a fishy taste). I love the fish taste but not everyone I know does. The most universally liked (by my American family) flavors are the salmon (it's less fishy than most of these) and the Nori Komi but they all have their own unique flavor and are definitely worth trying out. This variety pack is by far the cheapest way to get these (as of when I posted this) and therefore the best deal unless you're picky about the flavors. Some of these are gluten free but not all so be aware of that and read the ingredients in case you care.

Item received smashed. No Amazon return on this product.
This furikake is great but on this order at least 2 of the jars are shattered. Apparently Amazon doesn't allow returns on this so I guess I'm just screwed. Thanks Amazon.UPDATE: After chatting with customer service they are offering a full refund without need to return the product! Great product and great customer service!

Good set to try different varieties if you're curious
It's no gourmet/authentic/natural/organic (or whatever else you call it) ingredients, but I do like it to add some flavor to my rice every once in a while. The description says "contains no bonito flakes" but I recall some of them actually do have bonito flakes. I use it mainly as condiments with my rice during Asian home dinners (BTW, I'm Asian if that makes any difference). Here was my verdict so far on each flavor:* Ebi Fumi Furikake - this was my favorite - I practically huffed it. I ran out of this, and this prompted me to try the variety pack.* Katsuo Fumi Furikake - haven't tried this one yet, but it looks the same as Seto Fumi Furikake. It's got bonito flakes and nori seaweed.* Nori Fumi Furikake - not bad, mainly consists of seaweed and sesame seeds and salt. Minus the seafood flavor you get with the others, it's got a bit of a milder and plainer taste.* Noritamago Furikake - meh. Didn't care much for dessicated egg yolks -- I would still eat it, but probably not buy it again.* Salmon Furikake - pretty good, probably third to my Ebi Fumi.* Seto Fumi Furikake - it's got bonito flakes, only slightly larger pieces than the Katsuo, and a little bit less nori. Also like it - second to the Ebi Fumi.* Shiso Fumi Furikake - This was the first time I tried "beefsteak plant". WTF - definitely NOT my thing. Never buying (or eating the rest of) it again. Its odor is strong even if you use just a dash of it, and it's got a pretty strong sour/bitter taste even for a small amount. You probably could learn to like it with acquired taste?* Wasabi Fumi Furikake - it's got good wasabi flavor, without the super-strong wasabi kick. Also like it. If you can't tolerate wasabi taste, probably skip this one.* Gomashio Furikake (?) - the set doesn't show this, maybe they meant the Seto Fumi? Most of them have an overall sweet/salty flavor to it, due to the salt and/or bonito flakes, with slight variations on the taste depending on what seafood it contains. Like I said, it's no fine dining stuff, but it's quite good whenever you're in the mood for not-so-plain rice.
